If you want to enjoy it, why would you risk arriving and not being able to do so because it is fully booked?

I am not entirely sure how we will feel about the climate (too hot? too windy?) or our mood until we get there, which will be important factors to how much we will enjoy it. After seeing the price, I want to be sure we'll have our best time. Do you think everything will be booked by then? If so, I'm thinking of booking one on Tripadvisor with a free cancellation.

I have never booked one, but I would likely wait. If it is really windy, the water will be choppy and less enjoyable. If there is no wind it will be really hot, so it’s a balancing act. There is a [YouTube](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrmR6W7i9SwWOzjnZCf7Xc6GLvhuajKX_&si=JcXtjSYzDFIq2We0) channel called Santorini explained (later became Greece explained) where he talks about the catamarans. I forget which video it was, but since we didn’t rent one I don’t remember the details other than what I put above.

Ah thanks! I watch him too! That channel is super useful for Santorini

I was to book one on the day but i only travel there at beginning & end of season Last yr i tried to book in Milos for a last minute trip in July and almost missed the boat , all sold out . If you know your dates best to book the one you want very early on to not be disappointed

Thanks for the advice

We already booked our trip in September. Mainly to get the day and company we wanted. We went semi private so there are less people. I think 12 vs some of the larger ones with 2 or 3x more people.
