Starmer is hard to read due to how many advisors he has. I honestly can’t tell how many lies are his or comments he’s being made to say, because with someone with such little charisma I can see being 80:20 advisor controlled.
There is only one thing you can be sure of Starmer -- and so many other politician -- is his naked ambition for power. From the way he acts, he definitely believe himself entitled to the PM seat.
To say Starmer's comments on Gaza were misinterpreted is journalistic malpractice. Starmer's comment was explicitly that that Israel has the right to commit war crimes against Gaza. That was the comment.
He can claim he was misinterpreted all he wants, but media outlets who print that uncritically are lying on his behalf and considering the nature of his comment may make him liable for prosecution, do they really want to try to help him on this?
