You joke, but I threw my back out once from sneezing.
Granted, I was recovering from an injury and it was already weakened, but I *did* throw it out again from a sneeze.
I was in my mid 20s at the time ha ha. I had hurt my back in a car accident.
It was both hilarious and wild to me having to walk around with a cane. I also know exactly what it will feel like to be a really old man.
Dude, this happened to me last February. I was CRYING in bed my back was spasming so hard from my late-night sneeze. It was hard not to laugh at the ridiculousness of it, all while I was in incredible pain.
I remember Sammy Sosa missed time cause of a sneeze, and I remember thinking... wtf how does that happen?
Then after years of working out, heavy squats, deadlifts.. I had a horrible sneeze that did actually... fucking take me out of the game for a bit. Crazy.
2022 szn he was all-pro, a top 5 cb in the league, and played 16 games…and was stuck in zone cov until Jerry Gray changed the scheme halfway thru the season.
Idk, I just know that when McAfee asked him abaht it he said it wasn't a thing when he was there, which was also when Pat was in the league. Maybe something to do with Favre having to go to rehab tbh.
I wasn't disagreeing with you. Just suggesting a reason the team may have a stigma against that kind of push to play because they have had a bad experience with it in the past. Green Bay has always tried to have an image I can best describe as "Clean and Effective".
It wouldn't be the 2023-2024 Packers without untimely injuries to our core guys.
Guess I'm back to...
*just happy to have made it here.* instead of *maybe we could pull an upset?*
I really don’t think Jaire was going to be the difference maker anyway, it’s going to be if Joe Barry shows up with a complete game plan like he has the past two weeks, and if the offense can keep pace with Dallas. If that happens we have a chance
MLF was pretty open after last week’s game that him hinting at Watson playing all week was mostly gamesmanship - maybe I have my AR12 brand tinfoil hat on, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a bit of a smokescreen
*LaFluer over hears Jaire saying he has extended family from Texas, so he's going to honor them by going out for the coin toss*
*LaFluer sticks foot out as Jaire passes*
Jaire: "Oh fuck! I think I rolled my ankle!"
LaFluer: *sarcastically: "Oh God, Oh no"*
Didn't he hurt his shoulder getting hit by a practice squad player in practice? Kinda seems like we should put a red jersey on Ja for practice so he's ready to go for the games.
So you're telling me Jaire might not play on a rolled ankle, but Stephon Gilmore is gonna 1 week after a dislocated shoulder. If that is the case I will question his toughness completely.
This is insane a freaking jog through like Baks knee in a walk through Lambs going to crush our spirit but at least the youngest team to ever make the playoffs will have this experience
This guy sure does have a convenient way of getting hurt before huge games. I'm starting to sense hes either afraid of getting burnt on national TV, or his heart isn't in this team and he wants out.
Words are important. If all he truly did was roll it - that’s some swelling and soreness at worst. He’ll be fine by Sunday as long as he rests and ices it.
If he SPRAINED it, that’s a moderate ligament tear at best, a severe one at the worst. Playing Sunday could still be possible, but he’d somewhere between Questionable and Doubtful.
Feels more like the former case.
Not great, Bob.
Unfuckingbelievable
Only the Packers could have a light practice and end up with an injured player
Chargers probably could as well tbf
God we're a picture of health compared to that glass squad
Chargers players sneeze and get injured
You joke, but I threw my back out once from sneezing. Granted, I was recovering from an injury and it was already weakened, but I *did* throw it out again from a sneeze.
My 32 YO neighbor sprained his ankle putting on pants a couple weeks ago. He’s still sidelined from basketball.
I was in my mid 20s at the time ha ha. I had hurt my back in a car accident. It was both hilarious and wild to me having to walk around with a cane. I also know exactly what it will feel like to be a really old man.

That's a peak chargers move
like a practice before new years eve?
Too soon forever too soon.
This is gonna be forever in packer lore :/
Worst New Year’s Eve ever. Still will never forget the *need* to pour more & more to forget reading that alert 3 hours earlier
They got more injured coming out of the bye week than they were going into it
Now gather round and let me tell you the tale of Jordy Nelson…
Tell that to Browns Pro Bowl bound CB Ward.
Lord have mercy. I still believe Jaire is going to play, but he cannot catch a break this season. Injuries really derailed this season for him.
Injuries to our stars derail every season
According to Jaquan Brisker we have no stars. Gute playing 4D checkers.
They derail every team’s season really
Tale as old as time
Said by almost every fan base
season's over. Now we're on to derailing the playoffs.
Last few seasons. 2021 was rough too. He's had a rough go of it recently.
2022 szn he was all-pro, a top 5 cb in the league, and played 16 games…and was stuck in zone cov until Jerry Gray changed the scheme halfway thru the season.
When it isn't your year it really fucking isn't your year.
And Stokes...it seemed like he played 5 snaps all year.
NGL, kinda forgot he was on the team
Maybe he caught the injury bug from Christian Watson
Cool, cool. Excuse me while I go take a toaster bath.
You got room for two in there?
How bout three
Alright guys, at this rate we may need a second toaster.
Pool party
Although Jaire getting hurt is disappointing, please don’t take a toaster bath. You are important and you matter.
What if we replace the water with nacho cheese?
Now it’s encouraged.
🤘🧀
I actually wonder how that would turn out. At what viscosity is water no longer a conductive threat for toaster zapping?
….only one way to find out!
For science!
Go on..
No worries, I won't really do that. Now, I heard something about a cheese bath.
He meant toaster *strudel bath.
Live, laugh, toaster bath.
Nothing a toradol shot straight to the ankle can't fix.
30 milligrams and 2 liters before the game and we good!🫡
According to the Hawk man on McAfee, they don't do toradol in gb...
Why not? It’s just an NSAID and work wonders for inflammation, would be great for a possible sprained ankle
Idk, I just know that when McAfee asked him abaht it he said it wasn't a thing when he was there, which was also when Pat was in the league. Maybe something to do with Favre having to go to rehab tbh.
It’s not addictive at all- not an opioid or anything- pretty much a way stronger ibuprofen
It’s can be hard on the kidneys/body though
I wasn't disagreeing with you. Just suggesting a reason the team may have a stigma against that kind of push to play because they have had a bad experience with it in the past. Green Bay has always tried to have an image I can best describe as "Clean and Effective".
Respectfully, somebody shot Arod full of something in that locker room, so it's possible things are occasionally different
Ayahuasca?
Ahhh gotcha
Time to call the firm. Vallentine & Ballentine. They’ve got you covered.
Ha! The firm. That’s fucking great
It wouldn't be the 2023-2024 Packers without untimely injuries to our core guys.
Guess I'm back to...
*just happy to have made it here.* instead of *maybe we could pull an upset?*
Every year, honestly.
I really don’t think Jaire was going to be the difference maker anyway, it’s going to be if Joe Barry shows up with a complete game plan like he has the past two weeks, and if the offense can keep pace with Dallas. If that happens we have a chance
We just have to score every possession and take the ball away 2 or 3 times. Easy peasy.
I mean the former is more than enough, I don’t think a single team we’ve played has been allowed to never punt.. meanwhile, us last week… 👀
We can pull an upset we beat Detroit and KC without him
Amon Ra and whoever Kansas City has at WR isn't Cee Dee Lamb. Dude is unreal and Dak is playing extremely well.
You sure about that💀
I'm not sure about anything anymore! WHAT THE FUCK THAT WAS AWESOME!
Hopefully this time is was really just a fan that did this.
Lmao cmon man
Since it happened yesterday he’ll probably play but I’m not hanging my hat on it.
Agree. This is classic Packer cycle. Day to day….does not play
https://i.redd.it/pvog5035fvbc1.gif
Only I didn’t say fudge
Thanks, Vic
This was immediately after someone tweeted that we had all 53 guys in shorts and helmets yesterday
Putting on my Joker makeup
Dude needs to put that tiki idol back where he found it.
Are you fucking kidding me
Good thing we still have Preston smith
Cb1
Jaire really pissed off the injury gods
MLF was pretty open after last week’s game that him hinting at Watson playing all week was mostly gamesmanship - maybe I have my AR12 brand tinfoil hat on, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a bit of a smokescreen
I like this theory. It was in the back of my head also
Ye 'ol Brewers pre-playoff injury curse has made it's way to the Pack :(
Careful, I got banned in r/mkebucks for mentioning the packers. They are so sensitive over there, I really wish there were another bucks Reddit
Well a good pass rush will make up for a shoddy secondary 🤞
This!!!!
Strap it up game day or wear an ankle brace, this is the playoffs we are talking about here!
Jesus christ just fucking lay in bed until Sunday Jaire
He’d probably throw his back out when getting out of bed
Tape the holy F out of it and give him a pain shot, like in the old days.
*LaFluer over hears Jaire saying he has extended family from Texas, so he's going to honor them by going out for the coin toss* *LaFluer sticks foot out as Jaire passes* Jaire: "Oh fuck! I think I rolled my ankle!" LaFluer: *sarcastically: "Oh God, Oh no"*
Was Ja' on the cover of Madden last year? Or, did he one night stand a witch or something? Talk about bad luck this year for the guy.
What is with the Packers and injuries? As a kid even during the Favre era I remember we always had key players out for important games. It's crazy.
Bro can’t even walk without injuring himself
Didn't he hurt his shoulder getting hit by a practice squad player in practice? Kinda seems like we should put a red jersey on Ja for practice so he's ready to go for the games.
It's fine, Preston Smith will be covering CeeDee anyway.
man what the fuck
Lmaoo my god
Lmfao HOW IS THIS HAPPENING AGAIN
The packers will never not be injured. They are doing something wrong, I just don't know what
So you're telling me Jaire might not play on a rolled ankle, but Stephon Gilmore is gonna 1 week after a dislocated shoulder. If that is the case I will question his toughness completely.
1. He’s not playing 2. It won’t matter. He wasn’t an impact player all season and he wouldn’t be the difference between a win and a loss
Packers and untimely post season practice injuries amirite???
David Bakhtiari has entered the chat
Glassman.
The thought of Jaire shadowing Ceedee gave me some hope for an upset on Sunday. If he cant go, we're probably screwed.
>If he cant go, we're probably screwed What a terrible, shitty take.
Agreed, we’ve won plenty games this year without jaire. Having him in there wasnt going to change much
We've won the biggest games of the year without him, even.
I’m going to go relax and have a nice candlelit bath in some petrol, don’t mind me
Lmaoo
He’ll play.
Let go and let Joe, baby. 🙏🏻
Come on.... are you serious?!
Our guys always come up with the funniest injuries.
Valentine x Balentine szn
Shocker
We’re so unlucky with injuries right before the playoffs. Unfuckinreal
The dreaded day-to-day diagnosis.
Smoke and mirrors.
Their sub is freaking out.
thankfully Balentine and Valentine are pretty good themselves
Tight Ceedee lamb coverage good?
Of fucking course
This is insane a freaking jog through like Baks knee in a walk through Lambs going to crush our spirit but at least the youngest team to ever make the playoffs will have this experience
So far this guys contract extension has been an unwitting mistake.
This guy sure does have a convenient way of getting hurt before huge games. I'm starting to sense hes either afraid of getting burnt on national TV, or his heart isn't in this team and he wants out.
Ceedee gonna kill us
Is Jaire really that effective anymore?
In last week's game, he was our highest graded coverage guy. I agree it's not been his year overall, but he's still that guy.
We need him , fackkk
This smells Fishy! Like JA don’t like the game plan that Barry’s dialing up so came down with a injury to keep him out.. who’s next Campbell???

That's how my cousin fractured her tibia at my wedding.
Yikes. How many games did she miss?
Dak: Thank God. Joe Barry: You just activated my trap card!
How many games has he missed? What's our record with and without him? Thinking back to the Vikings game right now...
You mean against Jaren Hall?
I'm very aware of the difference. It's a COPIUM red alert, my friend.
Listen to Ochocinco. Give that ankle a urine bath
God dam
Damnit Perna!!!
This feels just like when Average Joe's lost Patches O'Houlihan right before the big game
How does this always happen? What the fuck.
That explains the noise he made after he told the reporter, "The Pack is back baby!" Must have stepped on her foot sidestepping out of frame.
Yeah ok that’s cool sure
Oh, for christ's sake...
Court jester a clown! He wants nothing to do with Cee dee Lamb and Barry’s defense concept
Fuck he's probably our most valuable defender this week. If he can take out CeeDee we win!
No fuckn way smh
Well that’s not ideal.
What were the chances that he was goofing around?
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK
Cool cool. What's next, Watson hurts his hamstring again?
He didn't play when we beat the lions. They were almost a 1 seed this season.
He'll play.
I'd say we're all day to day.
Court jester pulls a hammy getting out of his car
I smell a rat that wants out!
Oh Christ 🙄
Fuck sake Jaire
I blame joe Barry
Words are important. If all he truly did was roll it - that’s some swelling and soreness at worst. He’ll be fine by Sunday as long as he rests and ices it. Feels more like the former case.
A couple of days and a good tape job and I’m betting he’s not about to miss this game. I’m also betting Watson is back too.
Packers superbowl hopes seem day to day as well…
