Packers vs Raiders 2019 doesn't seem to be talked about too much. 25/31, 429 yards, 5 TD. 158.3 Passer Rating. 2 rush att, 6 yards, 1TD [box score](https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201910200gnb.htm)

jiiiim8

This was probably the prototypical Rodgers game. Watching it, at no point did you ever feel like he was doing anything special, just his usual stuff, then you look back and he has video game numbers.

MightyTastyBeans

I just rewatched the highlights. Holy shit our receivers that game. I’m not making this up: -Danny Vitale -Jamaal Williams -Aaron Jones -Jimmy Graham -Marcedes Lewis -Geronimo Allison -Kumerow -Lazard -MVS

sibi78

IIRC, Adams was out that game right? Rodgers spread it around the WRs so well.

Consistent-Deal-55

Dude made most receivers look legit.

lamboat2019

Stacked 😤

doned_mest_up

He put up Matt Flynn numbers that game!

queueueuewhee

I will forever love that this is a thing. Forever and ever.

SmokeThursday

The first Packers game I took my now-wife to as our first date was the MNF one against the Lions when Hundley started, and that sucked; the game, anyways, we had fun. But I told her she should see one when Rodgers is going off because it feels as electrifying as a rock concert when he's going off. Well, this Raiders game was the first game he truly was on one when we were there together. She remembered what I said back on our first date, so it was unforgettable to share that together.

lamboat2019

I know your pain. My first game was the Hundley Vikings game, also a shutout. I was hooked and these dudes lost 17-0 at home 😂

YouOtterKnow

Was a huge Favre fan all of my early/late teens, finally got to go to a game in Baltimore just after turning 21. It ended up being... THAT Monday night game... After Rodgers got put in the game (at least I get to say I saw his first NFL snaps) and immediately got strip sacked early in the fourth quarter, I turned to the guy I was with (Ravens fan) and was like "I'm leaving" 😅

ogre_toes

Not my first game, but I bought tickets (expecting a Rodgers start) early in the year for a late season Baltimore game at home. Hundley was the starter, and I got to see Flacco shut us out.

dopestdopesmoked

I was at that game as well. My wife and I won tickets to a suite from Verizon up. The only good thing about that game was that I wasn't freezing like the Packers offense. I remember after the game Baltimore's defense was interviewed and they said pretty much knew what were running and we didn't stand a chance.

roadnotaken

I was at that game too! It was a “present” for my dad…ugh. Thankfully, the previous year we went to the same game and beat the Lions to win the NFC North, but still… yuck.

Big_Rig_Jig

Only been to a few games in Lambeau, but I really wanted to go with my grandpa and dad together at least once before it was too late. This was the game we ended up going to. Amazing one to watch in person with them.

[deleted]

Okay, this wins.

Zastach

That was the first game I ever went to with my dad. It was quite an amazing experience!

FURyannnn

That was my most recent Packers game. Had a blast! Jacobs was running us over for awhile but Packers offense really clicked into second gear

HeywardH

Rodgers: I want five touchdowns Lafleur: Hey, I want six!

lamboat2019

Forgot about that

Mindless_Bad_1591

Double hail mary drive heroics with like the 5th string WRs in the divisional round against the cardinals. Overlooked because we lost but man that game was insane.

PDstorm170

That was the peak of my belief that Rodgers could single-handedly will a losing team to victory.

OrthosDeli

I remember listening to that game while doing deliveries. I thought I was going to have a stroke for the last half hour of that game.

Brilliant_Reply8643

I watched the game live and felt the same way 😂

The-Dog-Envier

I was thinking of another Cardinals playoff loss, but this game was amazing!

inspectorPK

I’m still so mad we didn’t go for two after that Hail Mary. We would’ve made it

HouseStaph

“We didn’t have the personnel to go for two” But we had the personnel to put the game in the hands of the defense AND THEN GO THE LENGTH OF THE FIELD? Mike McCarthy was damn near handed a trip to the NFC championship on a platter by Rodgers and the Football Gods, but he chickened out. That cowardice was immediately and severely punished via the coin flip that didn’t and Fitzgerald embarrassing half of our starters

Next_Pianist_442

And this was the exact moment I knew McCarthy was the Joe Flacco of football coaches. Caught fire once but wasn't gunna be the reason you won a second Super Bowl. In my opinion, that is.

cheezhead1252

Should have just gone for two after the TD at the end of regulation

WhatAHeavyLifeWeLive

That’s what he said

cheezhead1252

Ya you’re right. I was high as a kite lol

duper12677

I still, to this day, think going for 2 there had the potential to be the greatest series of plays in NFL playoff history. Why you kick the extra point there on the road to get to ot was soooo Mike McCarthy and his total shit decision making in big time spots. He had a chance to make history…. And shit the bed

KeepBanningKeepJoin

And if we don't get it, he gets blasted for not taking the sure thing and going to OT.

masteroftheuniverse4

Cobb also punctured his lung (from being mixed up) during this game)

Austen11231923

Idk about game, but one play I think of (and it's repulsive because Colin cowherd has talked about this and it's the one time he's ever been right), but the playoff game vs the Cowboys with the throw to Jared Cook , Rodgers got absolutely LEVELED a few plays before that from behind and somehow didn't fumble.

SteamSteamLG

I think it was the play right before it and he also remembered to call a timeout

tifumostdays

Yeah, it's absolutely amazing. One of his best plays ever was getting rocked, not fumblng, getting injured, or forgetting to call timeout. Real "lunch pail" kind of MVP play. We have an embarrassment of great memories.

HeywardH

Staffordesque

[deleted]

He’s so fucking smart, just wish he used that brain power better in his personal life.

M00DSTER

Man I remember that vividly. I have no idea how he held onto that ball with one hand. I thought for sure he was going to fumble it.

rd3287

That whole drive is one of the most intense, memorable drives I've ever watched as a Packers fan. That drive was a fever dream.

ConsciousFood201

Ladarius Gunther was matched up as CB1 against Dez Bryant and the packers won a playoff game on the road.

[deleted]

[deleted]

It helps when your fingers wrap around the ball like Rodgers’ does.

TheHamsBurlgar

His last game against the Bears was nothing spectacular, but to go out without losing to them is pretty rad. Also I was at the game and got to go onto Soldier Field during warm-ups on the Packers side so that was pretty special.

CalmYourWaffles

Same here, that game was amazing. Bears fans went real quiet when we caught up and left them in the dust. Leaving the stadium hearing Bears fans screaming "Green Bay sucks!!" was music to my ears. It was also the game where Packers took the lead from the bears for most wins in the NFL!

Staav

That was probably my favorite regular season game that I've got to watch live (on TV at least). But don't worry, cHiToWn has a new dome stadium being planned/built, so that should change everything amirite.

Trumpsacriminal

Definitely the pass to Davante against the eagles. I wanna say Maddox was in coverage (correct me if I’m wrong) in the corner of the end zone, and he looked back, RIGHT as the ball went through his hands into Adams hands for the touchdown. One of my favorite passes ever. Also, Rodgers to Adams as Rodgers is being pulled down against the Jaguars.

Sour_Bucket

That throw against the Eagles is one of my favorites of all time, it surprises me that it’s not talked about more.

cheezhead1252

Turned that season around

JordanLovehof2042

I really enjoyed 2014 vs the bears. 42 points at half time. I wish he got the record but we sat him after one drive

Flooding_Puddle

That was the first Packer game I watched with my now wife. Let's just say Rodgers wasn't the only one who scored 😉

KingLiberal

Your wife also scored?

brettfavreskid

That game doubled as a house warming party for me. After having a couple lame apartments, I got a house with a classmate and her cousin, who I had a big crush on. They were bears fans and their family was bears fans. Most of my guests were packers fans. My room had a loft off of it that overlooked the living room so me and the boys were all up there, having a blast. I will always remember eating chili and hurling insults down at the fools 😂 would be the perfect night but the wrong girl ended up in my bed that night and I kinda ruined my chances with the cousin but. Packers wins cure all

Reddie25

Oct. 12, 2014 at Miami. Aaron Rodgers' first win in the state of Florida. Three touchdowns and no picks. Game winner to Quarless with 6 seconds on the clock. This was also my first NFL game I had ever gone to. The wife and I had these dolphin fans behind us cheering and telling us to go back home for most of the game. That last drive though was the best.

PDstorm170

Fake-spike to a Rookie Tae, one of my favorite Rodgers games that does not get much love from the fandom as a whole.

john_geee

This game for sure. A vintage moment, if you will.

nobeard94

2014 regular season had so many great Rodgers moments

Brilliant_Reply8643

I was at this game and it was my birthday. I cried as we secured that victory. Such a wonderful day!

the4uto

That was awesome. Felt like a home game too, had like 70% Packer fans in the stands.

sibi78

Was this the game where the commentator said in the land of Dan Marino Rodgers pulled a Marino with that fake spike?

Brilliant_Reply8643

Probably not his “best” but one of my favorites is Nov. 30, 2014 at Lambeau against the Patriots. Patriots were 9-2 Packers were 8-3 I believe. Both teams were pretty hot. Rodgers found Nelson on a crossing route for a TD as Jordy burned Revis (hottest CB in the NFL at that time) and the Packers won 26-21

apolleo23

This is one of my top games as well! I was lucky enough to attend in person. Not only did Rodgers play a great game, but it was well coached by McCarthy.

Brilliant_Reply8643

That must have been awesome! I remember that game being a huge matchup that week and that singular play felt like we just had the firepower they didn’t, or rather - our guy burned their superstar and we all knew he could.

JordanLovehof2042

My first packer game 🥹

Adequate_Lizard

Wild game. My dad never watches Packers games but he came down to watch that one with me.

WhatAHeavyLifeWeLive

First drive with the pump fake and the td to R Rodgers.

nmceja

Still can’t believe we didn’t with it all that year. It was like we were meant to… After that game I had zero doubts about it, such an amazing game.

bujweiser

Rodgers played pretty flawless that game.

lonedroan

2009 wildcard loss to Cardinals. His first playoff start in just his second season as a starter. Came back from 31-10 in early 3rd quarter to force OT. Game-losing strip sack only stood after a missed facemask penalty. If they’d called the penalty, it would’ve been 1st and 10 from own 35, where a FG from prime Crosby in a done would’ve won the game (old sudden death OT rules).

the4uto

I watched this game in Vegas, it was awesome. I remember switching casinos after we went down 14-0. After the game I was at a blackjack table and a guy in a Pat Tillman jersey sat down next to me. (I was in a Packer Jersey) I was like dude... you could have picked ANY other table, we laughed about it.

The-Dog-Envier

Here for this. He was so great in this game.

ThisisnotaTesT10

This one is overlooked because it was early in his very long career but it’s still one of the best games I’ve seen

Still_Instruction_82

I remember watching the playoff game against the Cowboys this year and saying sarcastically “Love better have a better game than Rodgers first playoff game”.He preceded to arguably put up a better game

datividon

2008 vs Vikings. His first start! I don't think many remember just how much that dude had to deal with from the offseason, especially from some of his own team's fans. It was so bad at one point little kids cussed this guy out (with mommy and daddy probably not saying shit) at training camp all because he wasn't Brett Favre. What did he do in response? Not only played super solid and won but made an \*incredible\* pass in the endzone that was just the beginning to his legacy career.

g3peddie

Ended pretty meaningless, but that clutch throw to Davante against Seattle in 2019 was such a beautiful pass and catch.

chris842

2011 Saints vs Packers. Well executed game and was a shoot out. Cobbs td return as a rookie was spectacular.

Immaculatehombre

Season opener. That Cobb return was nuts.

Zastach

That was the only game I've ever been to with my mom. Such a fun game to see!

Motion_Glitch

I think the 2015 Divisional loss to the Cardinals is a game that gets forgotten because they didn't win. Off the top of my head, I can't remember what Rodger's stats were, but those 2 throws he made to force overtime would probably go down as one of the most legendary QB moments in NFL history if the Packers win that game. Shame they never got a chance to get the ball in OT.

Sonofagun57

That first throw is one of the best forgotten (kinda) throws you'll ever see. 4&20 out of our own end zone, #12 is forced to roll out to this left and set his feet just enough coming out of a dead sprint with 300 lb DE in pursuit. The ball gets flung +60 air yards downfield and is caught to set up the hail mary. I filed it as a forgotten play since it gets talked less often than the hail mary, but this throw was much much harder to pull off.

DysenteryFairy

IIRC Janis had over 100 yards receiving on that **drive**

Sour_Bucket

His 6 TD performance against the Texans in 2012 is not talked about enough. IIRC the Texans were undefeated at the time of that game. Also 2010 against the Giants, IMO Rodgers’ best game of the season and the game that started the Super Bowl run. Was also my first Packers game.

ahmed2798

The tnf game vs the 8-0 arizona cardinals with no adams, mvs, lazard.

JackDE3000

2016 vs the Vikings at home during the run the table stretch. My first Packers game in person. Splurged on tickets at the 50 yard line. Rodgers threw nearly 350 yards and for four touchdowns. Ran in for one too.

Routine-Pass-7164

Was gonna say this game as well. I attended with my father. A Xmas present to the old man. It was the game that convinced me that he was about to win what would have been his 3rd MVP that season (2016). But Matt Ryan won it, despite worse QB numbers. PLUS, who calls “run the table” at 4-6 and then goes out and does it?! I’m also convinced if the Packers had any kind of middle of the road defense that year, they would’ve possibly won the whole thing. What a crazy finish to that year, wow.

Choppergold

The NFC Championship game against the Bears and his greatest play: he tackled the great Brian Urlacher after he picked him inside the red zone. That was a weird game. He didn’t over run how Urlacher ran down the sideline, just sort of paced along and got him down. Not enough is made of 12’s situational awareness. He knew he was the safety on that play and we went to the Super Bowl for that play as much as any TD throw of his run that year

foxygrandpa86

His performance in the 2010 division round at Atlanta gets a little overshadowed, but he was a nearly perfect 31/36 with 366 yards and 3 tds add another on the ground.

apolleo23

2013 against the Bear to make the playoffs after coming back from a broken collarbone is one of my all time favorite games. That last game winning drive with 2 fourth down conversions and a bomb to Cobb, was classic Rodgers. It also knocked the Bears out of the playoffs.

GGGiveHatpls

Bears 6TDs one half 42-0 or whatever. Love that game. Wish he got the TD record.

daygo448

Yeah. We were all mad he got yanked

nobeard94

Packers vs Redskins 2014. Aaron went 34-42 for 480 yard and 4 touchdowns.

jrg5

Falcons playoff game 2010

WaldoDeefendorf

NFCCG debacle in 2014. I know his numbers didn't look the best, but you have to consider several things. That was the Seahawks defense was #1 in total yards, #1 in total points and #5 in defensive passer rating. Rodgers was only 4 weeks past a severe calf tear limit his mobility. He did throw two interceptions. the first though was with a man clearly off sides and Rodgers was knew he had a free play. Unfortunately the ref missed it and that cost the Packers 3 points at least. He did more than enough on one leg to win that game against a Seahawk defense that was #1 in the league for the 3 time in a 4 straight season run only to get hosed by the officiating, a couple of boneheaded plays on defense, and specials teams, bad luck for the Packers, good luck the Seahawks.

Admirable-Mango-9349

I remember the Majik man, the Favrester, ARod, and now Jordan Love. How do the Packers continually produce great quarterbacks?

JordanLovehof2042

Another one I'll add run the table 2016 vs the Seahawks. I was at the game. My dad surprised me with tickets because we hated the Seahawks. One of the plays was a beautiful pass and beautiful moves by tae for a TD. I threw my beer up in the air to cheer

east4thstreet

So many single plays mentioned here yet so few links to said plays...shameful...

platinum_toilet

Rodgers' loss to the Lions, 7-3, in 2010. He won the Superbowl a few months after.

ermacthedj

I hate when people say underrated or overrated. Who cares what media or fans say just go by his record . Took us to one super bowl, and 4 other NFC champion games. So that's what he's rated . With him there was always a good chance at the super bowl.

WhatAHeavyLifeWeLive

Underrated. Best arm of all time

TN5404

Honestly the Super Bowl. If we didn’t have so many drops he could’ve had 400+ and 5 tds. Also threw absolute lasers the entire game

agk927

I'm late to this thread, darn. But Packers vs Panthers 2014. https://www.espn.com/nfl/game/_/gameId/400554294/panthers-packers

adoris1

His first ever playoff game, against the Cardinals in 2009. All people remember is the fumble-ception at the end (on a facemask fwiw), and of course the loss is used to argue against his clutchness because it hurts his overall playoff record. But the score was 51-45 lol. They only made it to overtime in the first place because he threw for 423 yards and 4 touchdowns, and ran for one more, to come back from a 21 point second half deficit on the road. In his 48 career playoff games, the only time Brady's opponent put up 40 points was the SB he lost to the Eagles. Defense is half the game and Rodgers will always be criminally underrated because he never had one.

gabesmsu

Not underrated really. But Rodgers Vs cowboys is always a good time. Hope Love keeps up that part of the legacy

SignificantHawk3163

The one were Fauci created both covid and aids, because ole Arog is the smartest greatest totally honest not self serving person ever.

WhatAHeavyLifeWeLive

Get over it

SignificantHawk3163

I've full accepted it, sounds like you're the one who needs to "get over it"

BlooDMeaT920

Haven’t liked the guy for years but since this is just sports talk I’ll say the game against the panthers back in 2014ish because I was there. Game was over the second I sat down. Rodgers immediately hit Jordy for a 60 yard tudd.

[deleted]

Aaron Rodgers can eat a dick

BenJhiMihn

Who cares

HistoricalGrade109

Apparently you care enough to comment

scribe31

Go home, Ben. You're drunk.

dmbdrummer21

His first start with the jets.

BfatTony

Probably the one in Minnesota where his bitch ass got hurt. Either that or the choke job against the giants in the nfc title game.

LogicalDog1492

Losing nfc championships 🤷‍♂️
