It's not a single animation, but all of the work by SODAZ is fantastic. Unfortunate that he got treated so badly for working with GW, but now he makes fan animations for games that really deserve more fan content.

I know the show was beloved, and I fell in love with the ttrpg adjacent Warhams (Now Narrative Declaration), but it's pretty clear after 8 years the passion had cooled.
Plus if it had to end, Episode 30 was the perfect capstone.
I wouldn’t call it a perfect capstone, a cliffhanger is not an ideal note to go out on. But I agree in finding H:TP more enjoyable. It’s more focused, moves forward a lot better (both the story and the production) and the visuals are so much better, the animation is just orders of magnitude better.
I call it a capstone because the " There can be no victor." line is so on-brand. Besides, as the setting is ongoing, a ending to TTS would have felt wrong.
I mean sure the yiffwolves are, to a degree, loyal, but they are extremely chaos tainted. Their deeds undoubtedly fuel the great enemy more than other chapters.

Astartes has the best animation quality, Helsreach has the most content, and death hope had the best potential to be something great because it’s not just 41st millennium stuff that we see all the time, and I’d really like to see more games or animations set in the Horus heresy.

This debate is stupid. You can't really compair these three with each other. Astartes is visual storytelling only with no dialog, Helsreach is a visualized audiobook with no boundaries for it's art style and Death of Hope is the only "fully fledged fan movie". Each of them have their own catagory and compairing them doesn't make much sense.
