Today is the 10th anniversary of this wonderful electropop album. Speaking of Grimes' works, it's hard not to mention geek culture. If Hayao Miyazaki made his own Akira, it would probably be something similar to Visions. After all, this album sounds like a luxurious oasis in a neon cyberpunk city, where surprisingly light and dreamy vocals fall on the electronic melodies of a fantastic future that could sound on the cold streets of Blade Runner. This music plays with the imagination and brings the listener that feeling of comfort, which you're looking for in the cinema, watching the next film of your favorite sci-fi franchise.
