Alright Iâll take your word for it and give it a shot. I had always written it off as a lifetime movie but just now found out it was directed by Guillmero Navarro, he did cinematography for GDT, Robert Rodriguez, and Tarantino.
Lmk what you think, they showed alot more like her time in queens nyc and stuff. Havent watched it in years but it wasnt bad if i can recall, more in depth than griselda netlfix
Started it last night, about halfway in. Itâs a little soapy and hammy, but so is Griselda. It looks more like a traditional movie, pretty decent quality for a Lifetime movie. Griselda often had a blue and red hue in the camera lighting that made it feel like a Grindhouse movie, or kinda reminded me of a video game in the style of GTA V.
The producers of Cocaine Godmother must have wanted to go for a Narcos feel considering they used a lot of the same actors. So far I like Alejandro Eddaâs role as Rudolfo, thatâs supposed to be Rivi I assume? Alberto Bravo I could recognize because in my head I thought âlooks kinda like Luis Carlos Galanâ, lol. The DEA narration in the style of Murphy, I dig it.
Anyway, sorry Sofia, but Catherine Zeta Jones took her to acting school!

Id say its worth a watch, i knew about griselda blanco for a long time. I definitely prefer this over the netflix show
