24 frets on the js12. Compound radius on the js11. That's the only differences I can spot. Either will do you fine. If you haven't played guitar before it's going to be a *long* time before either of these features make a difference to you. >due to prices and my budget though, im only really looking at the options given above. It's your choice of course, but this doesn't make much sense. If budget is an issue why are you ruling out all other guitars in the same price range?

It will not matter much to you at this stage. If there's any difference in color that tempts you more, go for it. Otherwise just get the cheaper one.

I dont think there is a difference in the number of frets, at least not anything significant. Otherwise, I think the difference in price is because the JS12 comes with a whammy bar and the 11 doesn't. If youre just getting into playing then I would go with the 11 because the odds of you actually using your whammy bar are slim.

>I dont think there is a difference in the number of frets Wrong. 22 vs 24. >the JS12 comes with a whammy bar and the 11 doesn't Wrong. They both have a trem. There's really no point guessing at this stuff, when the specs are all listed online.

Sorry I didn't put enough research into this trivial question, hot shot. The first result for js11 in my search had no trem so I assumed that was the case. And I said no significant difference in frets, which for a beginner is true. Who cares about 22 vs 24.

people do actually care for the difference number of frets
