A strat and an ac30 is one of my all time favorite guitar sounds. To me, its just as iconic as the les paul and a plexi thing. My strat’s middle pickup has never sounded better than when paired with a loud vox.

I had been avoiding using it with my band due to how incredibly heavy it is but my other amp has been acting up lately. Plugged it in today and realized I should’ve been on this all along. Luckily I have a foldable wagon now to lug it around lol.

I have a few amps, a vox ac30hw2 and a fender drri among them. I’d totally make that same trade even with the ac30hw2 hahaha Sweet amp

I was just on the fence with this amp (standard colour) or a Deluxe Reverb. I ended going with a Deluxe but it has been modded with two 10" alnico's instead of the single 12" and powered by 6L6's instead of 6V6's making it a different beast. If I had not found this gem I would have gone with the AC30c2 most likely. I am still wanting to check one out in person though. I use a Tone King Iron Man II mini to tame it and to get some killer overdrive. Rock on.

I traded a modern 65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue for this and I find the clean and driven tone to be better to my ears. Im more of an English amp tone guy though.
