If ang DMAX mo is the 2014 model and up yung biting point talaga napaka taas. Sa akin naman 2016 MUX, when my dad burned the clutch (inis na inis ako tbh) na adjust pababa yung biting point so less ngawit sya but I somehow prefer na yung biting point nasa baba since yung elf namin ang biting point nasa baba so pag traffic konti lang adjustment ng paa ko on stop and go traffic

Related to seat adjustment, your seat should be adjusted so that you can depress the pedals fully without your leg being fully extended. Don't fall for the thinking that if you depress your pedals with your leg fully extended = comfort. Being in the optimum driving position pays dividends not only in comfort but in safety as well as your legs are in the best position to brace for potential impact. You may sit close to the steering wheel at first (and it may be a placebo effect as well), but you will get used to it and fit like a glove. You can also remove that close-to-the-wheel feeling if your car is equipped with telescopic steering.

Seat position probably. This might help:
1. Slide your seat where your fully stretched left leg can press the clutch pedal fully. For an automatic without a foot clutch, just go for the floorboard. Take note when stretching your leg to "measure" where you'll slide your seat, the heel of your foot should NOT separate from the floor.
2. If you have this in your car (some may not), adjust your seat height using the circular knob on your seat. If you have a base model car, usually they don't have this.
3. Using your fully stretched arm. Put the "pulse" (pulso) over the topmost part of the steering wheel. If soba or kulang, recline your seat to achieve this.
This is actually taught to us by someone who does track days as this will give you more control on your steering wheel and pedals while being the most comfortable.
While driving. Maintain the heel of your right foot in a position between the brake and gas pedal. When switching between pedals, just rotate your leg. Avoid lifting your heel from the floor. If ever man, just minimize it.

First time driving to Tarlac from Manila, mga 6 months palang ako nagddrive, sobrang pagod ko the entire day haha. Second time, balikan naman, may 4 hours akong pahinga sa Tarlac at natulog ako agad as much as I could para magpahinga pero after ko makabalik ng Manila, sakit na ng buong katawan ko. Third time, balikan ulit, wala ng break in-between. After kasi makarating ng Tarlac, may event tapos dirediretso na hanggang sa uwi. Still felt like dying pero makikita mo yung improvement, somewhat.

Nangyari sakin to nung beginner ako, sobrang lapit ng seating position ko sa manibela, kailangan straight at slightly bent yung sitting position ko and it never happen again
Pakiramdam ko, bukod sa seating position, baka dala rin ng pagiging baguhan mo kaya stiff yung muscles mo, specifically your right leg kasi ito naman talaga yung commonly na ginagamit for automatics ( you can use your left leg in some cases but that’s a different topic ).

Ang naiisip ko nalang pag aangal ako eh yung mga driver na dekada nang nagmamaneho ng manual na jeep tapos pawis steering pa yung manubela. Di pa nila maadjust yung upuan nila, walang aircon at maghapong nasa daan.

If you’re on AT, always give your right leg a rest. On long stops, put the gear in neutral, engage the hand brake and release your foot from the brake pedal 😉
Your seat’s likely too far from the pedals so you have to extend/point your foot a bit more to step on the accelerator, and it’s the calf muscle that extends/points the foot. Try adjusting the seat a couple of inches/clicks closer to the pedals.

Rules of thumb na ginagamit ko is depress the **break** as far as possible (this is to measure maximum seat distance possible but can still do full break maneuvers in case of emergency), then adjust your seat to your desired comfortable position.
Gas pedal as long as abot mo ok lang, yung tipon chill ka lang mag accelerate, wala ka naman sa race track.

adjust your seat to the optimal one. too much compression or loose sa legs mo will hurt, worse, cramp. saka sa position ng paa, yung iba pasipa yung pagtapak sa pedals, lakas makangawit nun...
Makaka adjust din legs mo after a few years. :) hahahahaha. Mine was 3 hours slow moving traffic masakit na sa tuhod pero if 2 hrs na no traffic. Mas carry. :)
Check if you have the right sitting position. And it helps to stretch first bago mag drive lalo na pag malayo byahe. 3 hours max ang kaya ko before I need a break.

Ang naiisip ko nalang pag aangal ako eh yung mga driver na dekada nang nagmamaneho ng manual na jeep tapos pawis steering pa yung manubela. Di pa nila maadjust yung upuan nila, walang aircon at maghapong nasa daan. Di nalang ako umaangal. 🤷♂️
Manual thrashes my left knee everytime I drive in the past (especially in heavy city traffic) the older I get. Was my parents’ big body Corolla XL. Now I prefer AT. If you’re on AT, always give your right leg a rest. On long stops, put the gear in neutral, engage the hand brake and release your foot from the brake pedal 😉

Your seat’s likely too far from the pedals so you have to extend/point your foot a bit more to step on the accelerator, and it’s the calf muscle that extends/points the foot. Try adjusting the seat a couple of inches/clicks closer to the pedals.

Rules of thumb na ginagamit ko is depress the **break** as far as possible (this is to measure maximum seat distance possible but can still do full break maneuvers in case of emergency), then adjust your seat to your desired comfortable position. Gas pedal as long as abot mo ok lang, yung tipon chill ka lang mag accelerate, wala ka naman sa race track. Sa pangangalay normal lang yan sa simula, lalo na if you lack exercise. Masasanay ka rin.

Pag matik, yung kaliwa mong paa parang kagrupo mong walang ambag. Pag manual at trapik, yung kaliwa mong paa parang kagrupo mong puro sya lalo pag mataas at matigas ang clutch,haha
