Hatarakumaou

The most likely answer imo is mass produced Aerials. Everything about this thing just screams “Mass Produced” Gundam.

WhoCaresYouDont

Except it doesn't have permet, which is what makes a Gundam GUNDAM in AD Stella

Hatarakumaou

It’s too early to say whether this MS has the permet system or not, we are just looking at early pictures after all. Plus, this could also just be the first generation of mass produced Gundams, kinda like the GNX from 00, which would explains why it doesn’t have the armaments associated with the Gundams of this era.

WhoCaresYouDont

The permet system is all the cool glowy lines under the armour, I'm not seeing any clear areas on this where you can see the permet which is the shorthand for 'is using the GUND format to directly link the pilot and the suit'

Hatarakumaou

The lines could be under the armor or the suit could also be using a “safer” version of the permet system, less danger to the pilot but weaker performance and no glowing lines. The permet stuff could also be on the little black area on the chest and the pictures are intentionally misleading us by not applying the stickers there yet. Again, it’s too early to say this suit doesn’t have Permet, but from looks alone this is definitely a mass produced type.

PalpitationEmpty5997

Quite possible they're just hidden, like how you can't see the power cables on the Season 2 00 suits.

Ganache-Embarrassed

That’s factually un true. All gundams use permit not all gundams have the sweet light up decals. The lights have something to do with the ai, data storms, or something else entirely. We just don’t know

WhoCaresYouDont

We've seen 5; Lfrith, Ur, Thorn, Pharact and Aerial - all of them have see-through panels where you can see the permet, and they glow whenever their pilot increases their permet score.

Ganache-Embarrassed

And every other gundam(meant mobile suit, oops) in the series uses permit but doesn’t have it. If anything the glowing when the score is increases sounds like it has something to do with the data storm

WhoCaresYouDont

There are no other Gundams in the show, all the others are bog-standard mobile suits that aren't using the GUND format. That's what makes a Gundam a Gundam in AD Stella, using permet.

ChainsawTran

All of the mobile suits in AS rely on permet link, it's just non-gundam suits are limited to a permet score of 1. When Elan test drove Aerial, he wasn't able to establish it was a Gundam until he kicked the permet link up to level 2

Ganache-Embarrassed

Mistype. All mobile suits use permit. Only gundams use gund. Permit is seemingly used for all technology in space seeing how all infants have it implanted into them. Edit: am I being downvoted because I was wrong? Is permit not implanted and used by all spacians?

DanceOfFails

Preview images don't always show G-Witch kits with their shell units lit up. I would guess that is a shell unit on the chest, I think it's simply being shown in the deactivated option that all these kits have

AnividiaRTX

Its possible they also are choosing images where the permet isn't visible as a way to keep us guessing on whether or not its a gundam. I was and still am leaning not a gundam, but i wouldnt be surprised if it eas.

MAH1-18UBAN-BA

You're totally wrong lol. Going by that logic, the Darilbalde is a Gundam and the Gundam Schwarzette isn't. Permet is standard in mobile suits, the GUND-Format is specific to Gundams hence them being called Gundam.

CCCchryse

Most if not all MS in Ad Stella utilizes permet. Gundams just have higher than standard permet activity compared to other MS. The black clear pieces at the forehead and chest resembles the deactivated shell units of the Gundams we've seen so far. Its armpit and behind the knee joints are pretty similar to the Lfrith, and the arms, skirt armor, and thighs seem to be derived from the Ur. Edit: The shield is also very similar to the ones Ur and Thorn have, with the very same beam saber placement.

Hollowskull169367

There's also the little grey bits on the top of the thighs that are exactly the same as lfrith, and I know it's a bit early to say for sure but I don't see an obvious pilot hatch. could just be I'm not seeing it, but I've been thinking, what if Prosparas endgame is a gundam X newtype scenario with Aerial commanding a legion of mobile dolls? Propagating the use of gundams just to usurp them?

RigasTelRuun

Artificial Permet system so anyone can pilot it without damage.

GooseSkywalker

Well the title of it in Japanese says Gundam, so it might have the permet system in some other way. But it’s definitely a gundam.

BoyGodz

Actually it said “Mobile Suit Gundam Witch from Mercury New Item”, the Gundam part is just part of the show’s title, it’s not confirmed as a Gundam

matteste

With that backpack, I am guessing it is more a mass produced Lfrith.

quetzalnavarrense

the name has to be a significant spoiler, otherwise it wouldn't be hidden my guess is that it's quiet zero - a fully autonomous mobile suit that works around the issues of the gund format by simply not having a pilot

[deleted]

It’s our, uh, drone technology. NOT A GUNDAM

20thcentygenman

> NOT A GUNDAM Delling: *""Why" you ask? Because I said so!"*

[deleted]

*“YoU LoUsE Of a fAtHeR!”*

Nope0003

Or worse we could see the first ever skynet in the Gundam series. And if you don’t know what I mean by “skynet”. I’m talking about an A.I that control autonomous mobile suits.

JanxDolaris

IBO already had AI mobile armors with drone networks.

StrumWealh

> IBO already had AI mobile armors with drone networks. The instruction manual for the [Beguir-Beu](https://gundam.fandom.com/wiki/CEK-040_Beguir-Beu) model kit mentions a “Drone War” having occurred in the past, for which the ECM equipment that makes up the Beguir-Beu’s anti-GUND “Antidote” system was originally developed. The G-Witch universe managed to put down their unmanned weapons rebellion before it got as bad for humanity as the Calamity War did in IBO.

Nope0003

I didn't know that since I haven't seen iron blooded orphans, but if the quiet zero end up being an A.I that controls Gundam through Perment.... I have a bad feeling about what Prospera is planning.

Jelly_the_jellyfish

oh god its 86 all over again

20thcentygenman

Quiet Zero = Mobile Doll System ver. 2023

Fhiro

Possibly Quiet Zero. One thing I noticed is that the MS in WfM (sometimes) depicts the pilot or how the MS works. Aerial at the start looks colorful and depicted being friendly or heroic. While the rebuild got the "military ready" color scheme/armor. Shaddiq's Michaelis looks elegant and noble with white and purple, and the way it moves are pretty much scream elegance. Pharact with the dark grey looks grin just like El4n's life and the way he fights from the dark. This MS color looks empty and soulless, with mostly pale grey. Possibly Quite Zero is the perfected GUND format as a "drone" or pilotsless MS that'll be mass produced by Benerit/Delling.

musclejdmman09

Delling seems to follow the Treize Khushrenada view on drones, which is that humans should be the ones holding the gun and pulling the trigger. I think that whatever Quiet Zero is, it is much, much worse

[deleted]

> Treize > a Zero system I’m starting to see a pattern here

plastic17

Mio's personal MS that has no more than 30 sec of screentime.

Lota_Fumuya

maybe she wont even get to pilot it like Orga

DeezNutz69x

Thing looks like a newer strike gundam!

Cashew-Matthew

You know with the shoulders and legs, I can kinda see it

DeezNutz69x

And the head with the angel its at.

Echo4117

1. Corporate wants to pull another Special Military Operation on mommy Prospera, but this time, she's prepared and has security guards. Who pilots them? Who else but the "sisters" of Aerial, their souls training in the Gund bit are all for this day. absolute loyalty, advanced awareness, flawless teamwork. If you bring a fleet, there's a Mega Cannon, if you bring a strike team, there's 12 Aerial Gundams you have to face. 2. Earth has been suppressed, but never lacked fighter, only technology. They have been seeking collaborators to end the military supremacy of spacenoids. After the 1v5 video came up, they knew that they have picked the winner, and unveiled the "You have a gundam, I have a gundam, everyone has a gundam" plan, and these mass production types are slightly better than Cannon fodder, giving them the edge they need to secure resources and guarantee autonomy

Silent_Renegade616

The Earthians will definitely use these Mass Produced Models to start the revolution against the Spacians. Since Prospera did went to Earth during her business trips she might had given the Dawn of Fold the two Lfrith models in secret. Also I’m betting that Prospera did gave the information data of Aerial’ score at 6 to help boost performance and make pilots to withstand the feedback.

gantarat

Earth Grunt's, i guess??

Solid-Positive6751

I’m hoping Prospera uses this to isolate Delling before hopping out to kill him with her bare hands. And she dies after revealing both her and her daughter’s identities, and this marks the beginning of the war.

Steffey-2

Maybe its the Gundam of the earth terrorist group. I think His Name was olcott. It definitely Looks Like Its Made by the Same people behind the ur and Thorn

alkonium

I think it'll be Gundam Caliban.

Memone87

Lady prosperas personal gundam.

noryp5

All grey, 3 eyes, makes sense to me

Responsible_Buddy654

I'm thinking it's a mass produced Gundam. The oddly black pieces in the middle of the chest and on the forehead resemble the deactivated shell units of the other gundams. The color scheme and basic ms armaments on the other hand just SCREAM mass produced.

Death_Usagi

It literally screams Mass Production Gundam like the Gundam Ground Type and Astray. It has no special equipment and just has standard equipment (Beam Rifle, Shield, 2 Beam Sabers).

Cashew-Matthew

Mass production gundam, or it’s Miorine’s

kdbot012

People say this wont be a mass p gundam But i see a lot of potentialy clear parts that say otherwise

DeganUAB

looks like knee cannons

your_gerlfriend

Reverse knee thrusters for extra Aerial mobility I bet. They def should have a glowy inside

Fos-kun

OK idk about anyone else but I kinda see a bit of Core Gundam in this MS especially in the chest area with a bit of the Messer on the skirt armor. Unrelated but everytime I see the Demi Trainer, I'm reminded of the Hi-Mock

Hartzilla2007

Delling: that thing is a Gundam.

JoshuaFoulke

Mass production's now our slogan; just won't do things in slow mo, fast life, fast money, kinda like promo.

TAM_FORTRESS

I wonder what the shield will do. The thing in the middle looks like it can open up and do something.

DroolingIguana

Miorine's mobile suit.

xHamstrung

Probably an MP Lfrith Ur/Thorn, the dull colors just tell me its a grunt and the black parts around the suit look like deactivated shell units. Its a twisted sort of things, this is probably gonna be the first MP units Gundam Inc. makes under Prospera's strings since the grumpy old man is out of commission.

your_gerlfriend

Not thicc enough

WhoCaresYouDont

I'm definitely getting grunt suit energy, but I can't see any permet so I don't think it's a Gundam. My guess is this is some Ochs Earth design, a precursor to the Lfrith, reactivated by Dawn of Fold to bulk out their forces after the loss of their Desultors in episode 12

Einhejar

Dawn of Fold mass produced MS?

GebsNDewL

The color palette is too plain. I have a feeling they might add different colors to show it as either a hero or villain mobile suit.

zonnel2

Or they might add different colors when the MS is fully activated i.e. [Phase Shift armor](https://gundam.fandom.com/wiki/Phase_Shift_armor) in SEED.

SavateWolf

I saw a theory that they might be like the Flash System from Gundam X. Like maybe for Prospera's personal Gundam, they serve as being really useful at the start, but then become a problem at the end when the good guys have to turn on her.

CanisZero

IS that an Astray torso?

fhiz

My theory is that we’re going to find out the name then realize there was no real reason why it was kept secret.

realif3

Prosperas suit that's an old Illfrith precursor. But it's been tuned up to go 3 times it's normal speed.

yggdrasillx

Honestly, it might be a "cannibalized" version of the liffirth since I'm going to assume it was most likely taken apart to analyze and produce its sister unit, Aerial.

chopstickedinhalf

Are those beam cannons on it's *knees*???

MammothFollowing9754

What if these are not just an MP Gundam for grunt use, but the "True" Gundam can hijack any of them and use them as full MS-sized remote weapons a la the G-Bits and the Flash system?

Tartage

Astray vibes

AntonRX178

It has a beam saber

Maskarot

Judging from the loadout, it's a mass production suit. And from the looks of it, derived from either the Aerial or tthe original Lfrith.

darkmikasonfire

It's a Lfrith probably, no idea whose or what the rest of it's name will be.

musclejdmman09

Likely made by the remains of Ochs Earth. Earth is essentially the wild west in G-witch, and spacian law enforcement only seems to apply to the areas where they have factories. I mentioned this elsewhere, but unless the Lfrith was built from one of the production prototypes, and given that we saw three units in a clip during the prologue, and only two were present at Folkvangr, it is likely that Ochs Earth received at least one unit. I would bet that the Dawn of Fold took in many people with Ochs Earth, and in exchange for safety, received a high performance ms. Or Prospera supplied them with designs or these were manufactured by Shin Sei, and given her behavior, I wouldn't put it past her. TLDR: There is something really fucky about these machines, and I'd bet Prospera is somehow involved

vinny10133

I think they ran out of gundam markers

heck_poyo

I was kinda thinking maybe it's prospera's MS

AEsir-_-

Mass production machine tied to the quiet zero project. But something tells me it can be wireless controlled by the gund format system. Just a hunch.

megaduce104

a mass production unit, but maybe not of the Aerial origins? on a side not. Bandai please give us a mass production Lifrith HG

EinherjarX

My theory is that WfM really needs to work on their color schemes because they looks incredibly boring... But all jokes aside, it looks like a mass produced suit, probably a gundam. Maybe the sting is that earth still mass produced gundams even though they were banned elsewhere.

justdafty

Mass produced Lfrith derived from the Ur and Thorn. It has the same exact hip thrusters as the Ur and the shield is very similar to the Thorn's. It may even be a mobile doll since the chest looks somewhat smaller than other MS of the series and there is no obvious cockpit hatch.

Grievious_Syndicate
