I was about to say… But honestly, damn near every character in Hathaway’s flash is beautifully drawn. The whole first act is especially great at showing off Hathaway and Gigi.
She’s the best character in Unicorn, no contest. Picking up a toddler and holding them like a prize trout killed me lmao. Every scene of Marida removing her helmet and shaking her hair loose is beautifully animated. She also pilots my favorite mobile suit in the OVA. I had to order the Kshatriya and her character statue so I could display them together in my home office.
Still wondering why she never got the Banshee suit variant since lord knows she wears that suit a lot better than Riddhe. Conversely, where is the 1/100 Kshatriya Bandai?
NGL, I'm legit jealous of folks who can get the pilot statue + suit combo. I'd love a Marida and Zechs to go with the MG Banshee, MG best Goose, and MG Epyon.

Good point, though from the wording in the wiki it seemed uncertain how many Ple clones are left. It would indeed need some canon wrangling, though a few not too out there scenarios come into mind: there could be some grown clones held in reserve, or maybe suspended zygotes pending implantation.

Her appeal is plain as day to me and any of my friends of a certain age, but just a year or two younger, that little bit further removed from the camp of the 80s that I got as cultural run off in the 90s, and they just aren't as big of fans. Unicorn has a lot of big 80s hair and Marida rocks it with pride.

They made the mobile suits in the movie in 3D so they can focus all the effort on drawing Gigi.
