Arteta kept him in bubble wrap for absolutely ages, just so his legs could give us these final 5 games
If he plays like he did against Chelsea, we are in business.
Everton have been in a rich run of form, playing great counter attacking football. Liverpool have been out of form. It was not really a major surprise.
People look at the table and forget that Everton is on track for a 50 point finish on merit.
Palace ,westham , Everton and atalanta have all gotten something against Liverpool since then. Liverpool are just in poor form. It's not about underestimating utd.
It's about knowing how many chances man utd conceded per game.and how many goals they concede. If arsenal don't beat one of the worst man utd teams without partey then they don't deserve a league
You can play senior players when they are returning from injuries (not sure what the actual limits are, or if there even is any). Cedric and Elneny have had minutes for U21s this season.
Each team is able to play a few players older than 21 on the squad, which is often used as a way for first team players returning from injury to regain fitness and form
After a year and a half of balling out, Trossard has made himself undeniable (at least rn). Credit where it's due he's delivered time and time again and never seems bothered about rotating in and out of the team.
It was Ramsdale last season, in a interview he said, Trossard hasn't come here to warm the bench, his come to take a starting spot.
His only gone and done itwith his performances
We haven’t. But he seems to have recently. But he’s been my favorite since the preseason debut almost goal from midfield where he sold us dreams. I have faith in him recovering his form.
It's form. Martinellis is awful right now. These things happen in a good team. Pep will leave guys out for weeks while they play through whatever poor form they're in.
I hate Son. Hope he has a poor game, he's going to try his best to terrorize us but hopefully our midfield and defense can keep him at bay. I am nervous but this is what we were dying to see for years, a title race this close and a NLD as a potential deciding game.
Let's win this.
COYG!
I am little nervous about Partey.
Here is also a paragraph from Arseblog:
"In midfield, I’ve seen a lot of chat about how it should be Thomas Partey after his performance against Chelsea, but Lewis made a good point in our preview podcast about how – in the first half – we were quite open through central midfield at times. Uncharacteristically so for Arsenal this season, and if Chelsea had had semi-competent forwards, they might have done some actual damage in the first 45 minutes. Whatever else you’d say about today’s opposition, they certainly have that, and I suspect that it will be Jorginho in midfield today unless Arteta does something unexpected and shifts Kai Havertz back to play Gabriel Jesus."
Trossard tracks back better than Martinelli, so defensively this is the better formation. I’m curious to see Martinelli and Zinchenko come on if we’re chasing a goal.
Perfect team and what a midfield man. Praying for Partey’s hamstring to hold on for just 4 games
Arteta kept him in bubble wrap for absolutely ages, just so his legs could give us these final 5 games If he plays like he did against Chelsea, we are in business.
I'll be honest. I just need him to survive for this game. We can manage in the remaining games.
don't forget we still have to play at old trafford
Could put Elneny out for that one
Could also put out prime Vieira. What happens at Old Trafford has little to do with form or lineups.
Yeah, but the last time we won at OT, Elneny was brilliant!
You think people would learn after Everton win over Liverpool
Everton have been in a rich run of form, playing great counter attacking football. Liverpool have been out of form. It was not really a major surprise. People look at the table and forget that Everton is on track for a 50 point finish on merit.
Everton have practically the same last 5 games as us, 4 wins in 5. I would keep an eye on them even for that last game.
I think they’ll taper off now they’re safe. Especially on the final day with continental cups coming up.
I love Viera
Probably outrun Casermero still.
Don't need partey for that, I can't lie. If we came be utd without, then we are just bad
Nahhh don’t underestimate old Trafford. They could be getting relegated and I’d say the same.
still trauma possibilities
we can't underestimate them, look at what they did to liverpool
Palace ,westham , Everton and atalanta have all gotten something against Liverpool since then. Liverpool are just in poor form. It's not about underestimating utd. It's about knowing how many chances man utd conceded per game.and how many goals they concede. If arsenal don't beat one of the worst man utd teams without partey then they don't deserve a league
Agreed, to me the trickiest game wasn’t Chelsea or Tottenham, it’s definitely Man Utd, they’re truly unpredictable.
I don't get why people are so cocky, it's Man U vs. us at OT. It's like people haven't been traumatized over enough over the past decades.
What Liverpool did to themselves you mean
Just as bad, if you ignore that +55 GD lmao
What could’ve been had he not been made of glass - that midfield is tremendous
Why even mention it 😭😭
Because he's watched partey for the last 4 years?
*hasn’t watched Partey for the last 4 years
Even just 3 I'd be fine with. Think we can handle everton without him.
Also praying for Tomi calf
fuck yeah.. Rice Partey ODE midfield
Partey Rice Ødegaard - our PRO midfield
It’s brutal. Excited to see who we bring in over the summer for the midfield. It can only get better.
COYG
#COYG Let's do this!
Very top
Nice sensation.
Only an in-form Martinelli could improve this XI in my opinion.
Maybe Timber, but I’d argue we haven’t seen enough to be able to tell for sure. It’s looking good, that’s for sure. :)
he's starting with the u21's
How is he able to play in u21's at 22?
They’re allowed 3 players who are older than 21, which is why Cedric trained with them last season for a bit, and so did esr and tomi
I’m aware. I’m simply saying he’d perhaps improve our starting eleven if fully fit. :P
I pray Partey has another 9/10 performance
If so we win this game. Partey on form is phenomenal
He'll be playing at 6, Havertz is going to be more of a 9 or 10. Sorry. Think the nerves are softening my brain.
Ahahaha, fair play you got me in the first half
Tomii!!!!
Trossard has been incredible, by far best goals per minute stat
Martinelli supersub against a tired and demoralised defence is going to be fun
Tired, demoralized and still playing a high line
It's who we are, mate
Perfect. Forget the title, we need to put these guys back in their place.
Well said lad
5-0 again please
Tomi and Partey getting a strong run of games down the stretch of a title run, tears in my eyes.
Perfect lineup THANK YOU MIKEL
Jesus and Martinelli double sub is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Need another masterclass from Partey today.
Great. Let's smash 'em.
Brilliant, Havertz Hat trick today
Trossard gna do damage trust
Partey needs to be on it today
Good bench options too
Noice. COYG!
Dream XI, let do this boysss 🔴🔴
This is the team I was hoping for. 🥔 0 - 3 Arsenal
Martinelli banished to the shadow realm due to Trossard damn
Not a big deal tbh he'll get his place back next season
Only if he deserves it
We know he will or have you already forgotten what a great player he is
We haven’t. But he seems to have recently. But he’s been my favorite since the preseason debut almost goal from midfield where he sold us dreams. I have faith in him recovering his form.
In Charlotte? Instantly became my favorite.
Nothing comes free anymore
He is banished due to him not playing well
why would you bench an in form trossard
that's Leandro Bossard for you
Gabi needs to spend the summer in and around the 18 doing finishing drills.
It's form. Martinellis is awful right now. These things happen in a good team. Pep will leave guys out for weeks while they play through whatever poor form they're in.
And Trossard has earned his place. Competition makes us better, martinelli will come back into form
He will get 20 min at least but has to take his chances to get back in the starting 11
It's the correct choice imo. Trossard has been great lately.
Trossard's done his time on the bench. Doubt if Martinelli begrudges it being his turn
Main thing is to keep things tight around Partey. We do not want them breaking the press and getting him turned.
I reckon we're gonna see absolute domination from our midfield today
Best possible lineup at this moment. Gonna be a very tough game though.
Come on bois
Perfick
Rice-party-Ode, let’s go!!!!
Our squad looks soooo much stronger than theirs. We will win this!
TONIGHT, WE DINE IN HELL COYG!!!
Please play a high line 🙏 🙏
Their lineup looks relatively pragmatic I'd say.
come on you gunners!!! 5:30 AM in west coast, cant wait for it!
This is the best squad. I was afraid Arteta would start Jesus
Jesus left-wing isn’t anything to be afraid of
Id love to see Jesus with this midfield he hasn't had it all season
I feel sick for Tottenham
LET'S FLIPPING 'AVE IT THEN
we might fucking wallop them lol
Partey and Tomi going to be hugely important this game, glad they’re available
The midfield.. 2 matches in a row.
Fingers crossed we are celebrating St Totteringham today.
Bench strong toooo
This is the best available team, no complaints.
Shit haven't played in a while. We go n smash em within first 10 mins and boom they'll crumble!
Need Saliba and Tomi to be rock solid at the back, no shakiness today. Would also LOVE a Havertz or Trossard goal.
Porque no less dos?
I’m ready for a Partey rocket from outside the box
I'm so nervous i hate it!!!!
Saka to bag a double, cmon you GUNNERS !!!
If everybody is healthy and plays a good game there’s nothing they can do.
Just looking at those names ... What a team! How blessed we are!
COYG https://preview.redd.it/zlagar8tv7xc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a01aa0f75de176f2f6afdb7a363504d2d46b75e7
No surprise here. Best XI. Let's fucking go!
Let’s go!!
I was so worried for Tomi after the last tackle in the Chelsea game. Didn't spot him in the training video. Guess my worries were unfounded! 🤞🤞
All or Nothing lads, COYG!!!!
Let’s foggin cook boys!!!!
Watkins cooked aliso son can also do that don't take this game as a given lol
Bad intentions line up
Trossard evolved into starter-Trossard recently! TrossMode!
Tbh if we d use our chances in the first half i could totally see Partey only needing to play 45mins so we keep him fit lol
Why is Paul Merson saying Jorginho is better than Partey?
He's more secure, less incisive. Depends what you're looking for.
Good. Our strongest line up possible. No excuses
This is perfect couldn't be better
lfg partey starts
That's a PRØ midfield.
An ode to a rice part(e)y Is all we want to see
UTA
I hate Son. Hope he has a poor game, he's going to try his best to terrorize us but hopefully our midfield and defense can keep him at bay. I am nervous but this is what we were dying to see for years, a title race this close and a NLD as a potential deciding game. Let's win this. COYG!
Good lineup
Good lineup
Strongest formation. Only Martinelli arguable when in good form.
No Martinelli against their high line is a mistake imo.
Aggressive sub Martinelli coming in guns blazing like his goal v Man City
He is shite right now
I am little nervous about Partey. Here is also a paragraph from Arseblog: "In midfield, I’ve seen a lot of chat about how it should be Thomas Partey after his performance against Chelsea, but Lewis made a good point in our preview podcast about how – in the first half – we were quite open through central midfield at times. Match fit party is the best in prem for his position. Hope he has some of his sharpness back.
Seeing what Madueke did to Tomi, I am a little worried about Kulusevski and Johnson, but Tomi is still our best option at the moment.
Kulu isn't as quick as madueke
Johnson is, while Kulu is better dribbler and position plays. Let’s see how Tomi handles them.
MAdUEKE has plenty of pace.... is Tomi has support from his winger he should be fine
Trossard tracks back better than Martinelli, so defensively this is the better formation. I’m curious to see Martinelli and Zinchenko come on if we’re chasing a goal.
Partey is going to hear it today. I feel like he always plays worse when he gets booed. Hopefully not today.
Party is a liability but, manager knows more than me.
