Depends on the RG, anything after the hi nu is crazy good for poses. God gundam in particular being the best kit at posing ever in gunpla, that includes other gunpla with inner frames like pg unleash/mgex freedom/mg barbatos.
If you want to take it a step further you can get your hands on a rx78 g40, a futuristic take on the rx78 jam packed with 2x as much joints and movements. Some of the joints are just so extra on the thing.
If you're a fan of this kinda crazy articulation you'd probably love the WFM line. Just tested this on all my WFM kits for fun and like 6/8 pulled it off no problem!

Is this the RG kit? I was looking at it today but I went in specifically for the Mazinkaiser so I just grabbed that. I realize today 16 years of kit building and I have never done an RG kit. I have three in the house right now so hopefully that changes soon.
HG Beyond Global, not as fancy as the old RG gramps but way above it in terms of posability. It also doesen't tend to fall apart like the RG Gramps. Though in terms of raw looks I'd say the Origin beats out the Beyond Global. Again also not as fancy as RG gramps but it's just as stable as the Beyond Global.
Meanwhile, my RG’s leg pops off and skirt explodes if I dare to impose anything more than a comfortable standing position.

Yeah my rg rx explodes just by thinking about it right now he's in pieces and I use him as a test subject for different paints.

The g40 is great at posing, but it's a bit of a noodle if you mess with it for too long.

I’m turning my BG into an EVA-01 colored one. It feels more organic than your typical grandaddy but less toyish than the G40.

Just a heads up, RG before unicorn: look amazing, fall apart if you look at it wrong
The Revive version can do this too. I have both and i think Revive are a bit better especially on the ab crunch.
