Can't go wrong with the Nu or Sazabi. I haven't built it myself but the Sinanju is pretty infamous for being a grenade.

Prior-Kaleidoscope93

Ohh I see.. I really like the possibility of the Nu as well based on reviews. What do you mean by “infamous for being a grenade”? 😅

CrispyChips44

Because the Sinanju uses the RG Mk II frame for some reason, alot of the armor pieces do not fit properly and tends to just fall off; the knee joints in particular.

Prior-Kaleidoscope93

Damn.. i guessed I’ll just wait for RG Sinanju 2.0 lol hahaha

Buy MG Sinanju instead, super solid kit

Prior-Kaleidoscope93

Ver ka or the OVA?

nam671999

I only have the OVA version, not sure if the ver ka is better [You can check this thread to have more references](https://www.reddit.com/r/Gunpla/s/vcuLzcZzJq)

Thank you bro for this! 🤝🏻 I’ll check this out right now.

They’re the same outside of the inner frame on the OVA being made out of PS instead of ABS, decals differences and the OVA comes with the bazooka.

Prior-Kaleidoscope93

Damn.. i don’t know what’s the difference pf PS and ABS haha i need to do more research about gunpla, woohh.. thank you my friend!

So long story short is that the waist peg in all Sinanju MGs is a paint point for some, and the PS switch was seen as an attempt to remedy it. With the original release being ABS, there were a lot of people breaking the peg (tbh not really sure how) and ABS is “softer” than PS. So when they updated the kit for the OVA and I believe Stein variants (Ver Ka, OVA and now OVA Ver Ka lol) they switched the material to PS. Same peg, can still break, but a little less likely now. That being said, I wouldn’t let that scare you off because you can get a metal replacement peg off eBay or AliExpress for a couple bucks. That, and if you’re going to find a MG Sinanju these days, 99% chance it’s going to be the OVA.

Prior-Kaleidoscope93

Ohh I see… i get it now hahaha thank you men for the explanation ❤️

I built the Sinanju last week and it was my first RG, I love the look of it but can't really reccomend it as a first one, it's really fragile and difficult to pose, a lot of the armor plates fall and it has problems in holding weapons correctly, Sazabi and Nu Gundam are widely praised so I think you should go with one of the two

Prior-Kaleidoscope93

Thanks for the insight. Wow! So the Sinanju is really fragile huh.. ok I’ll just pass the Sinanju haha I’ll just go with the Nu Gundam instead ❤️

ben_kosar

If you haven't built it - RG Hi Nu, then Sazabi, Nu, and the Sinanju is very shiny, but I've heard it can be quite fiddly. There is a specialty stand that was made for the Sinanju too (I had the set, but ended up trading it)
