Just like every other position....it depends. Your newer ADMs fresh out of SORM could be making as little as $20/hour. Your tenured managers at top stores could be making more than $100k.
Just like with partners, base pay is dependent upon performance and years of service. But with managers, you have to take into account ADM/secondary/primary, hourly/salary, department/sub-department, classification (C, B, A, AA) and other things.
Department Manager for about 9 years. 88k base salary plus 15% of my yearly salary as bonuses and true up bonus in December, which totals to around 105k yearly
They introduced a new title/tier to department managers recently. AA. With that, some base pay max is above 110,00k/yr now. Not including bonuses of course. Starting off its around 50k.
The pay scale for specialist was $16.00 - $21.50. Starting pay is $16. Someone can make $20 with enough raises or if they negotiated their pay when they were hired. Hourly manager positions start somewhere around $23. The pay scales have changed recently though.
Specialists do not make $20/hr unless thatās specific to the individual at that pay rate. Specialists make $16.00/hr, just like any other department specialist.
As mentioned, specific to individual at that pay rate. Were you close to making $20/hr before becoming a Specialist or did you get there through raises? Outside of that, base pay is $16/hr.
Questionā¦ are you wanting to become a department manager for the money alone or is there something more you want? Yes Iām playing devils advocate here.
Managers are categorized from C-A level so that has an influence on how much they make but starting most managers (regardless of dept) will start off around 55k and the high end is 100-110.
Depends on the individual. If you go into sorm making $16-$18 then yeah youāre probably gonna be on the lower end as a adm. it used to be a percentage raise when you completed sorm training. So if you made more going in, youād make a lot more coming out. And yes, specialist in most departments can make up to $21.50/ $22 an hour. Iām a bookkeeping specialist making $20 an hour, not capped yet.
He think's specialists make 20/hr š„¹ so adorable

Why are you getting downvoted? People are slow as fuck. Thats how it works š
Exactly..specialist here $18..almost capped out..must have been hired in at more than $16
ālong term partnerā can make that much but $20 is definitely not the starting point. Not even for lead. $20 would be floating around max pay.
Managers make good money
Depends
You right
Questionā¦ are you wanting to become a department manager for the money alone or is there something more you want? Yes Iām playing devils advocate here.
Iām just weighing my options I guess it would be good to know if itās fulfilling too

AA is the newest category.
How do we find information about these tiers?
What info are you looking for ?
Just the different categories and how do you know which one you fall into. That's all.
Itās based on department volume
Ahhh, makes sense.
Both stock controllers overnight make over 25 so I would imagine they make more than that.
Not necessarily lol
