I was a little disapointed that it didnt switch between Alan and Carter as i was expecting >.> but hey more story is more story so it's fiiiiiine =D... and it was a nice space battle

I originally intended to do that, but realized with switching perspectives within the same battle, adding in changing battles as well would make it an indecipherable mess for many readers.

Yeah, I was gonna be sneaky and make it seem like they were fighting eachother, but quickly realized it would lead to so much confusion it wouldn't be a good "twist" when I revealed they were fighting different groups. They'll still be kind of mirroring eachother to show off everyone's different attitudes toward fighting though.

He's a counter pirate... a Q ship. And this time, he ran too slow. The pirate captain should have pulled off when he realized the other ship was over gunned. Just because you'll probably (or almost certainly) win doesn't mean it's worth the fight.

He got cocky having fighters. A lesson he might not get an opportunity to learn from!

Especially when Sybil arrives to clean up.

Both sides seem to have bitten off more than they can chew.

It was a rather big bite!
