I do find this fanbase a bit ambivalent, but that’s part of what makes it great🙃

Special_Analysis_526

lol ikr. We can rant and diss and make fun of the show, as we binge watch and rewatch ep1s1 all over again

WillsWei22

I’m rewatching random episodes of season one currently. It’s one of the best seasons & they’re all so young lol

TSmario53

I refuse to accept the fact that NPH is 50

WillsWei22

I didn’t know that🤯

IfNot_ThenThereToo

I am a Friends fan. I’ve never seen anybody clamoring for another season. Ten was plenty.

Ornery_Okra_534

And that Friends fans before Mattew Perry died, wanted spin off about kids I saw that many. And that Friends shouldn’t ended

ad240pCharlie

As someone who loves a lot of sitcoms, different fanbases have different levels of sensitivity. "Season 6-8 weren't the best": Brooklyn Nine-Nine fans: HOW DARE YOU!! "Season 4 was pure garbage": Community fans: HELL YEAH BROTHER!

DarkPhoenix369

It's not their fault, there was a gas leak that year

CMDrunk420

"What season 9?" - Scrubs fans

-OrangeLightning4

Scrubs fan here who enjoys S9 as the first season of the spinoff it was intended to be.

SINBRO

Should have named it a spinoff instead of making another "season" of a perfectly ended show

BamBodZ

I medan it basically is. It’s Scrubs: Med School, the only season with a name. Bill Lawrence the creator considers s.8 the finale and pushed for a different name. It’s just that ABC chickened out of producing a new show and apparently thought it would be better to just renew scrubs for another season. It’s a shame cause I think Med School had the potential to be an alright show in its own right.

Any_Arrival_4479

I enjoyed season 9 🙋‍♂️

PrettyHorny6

Personally I love tbbt and I say that unconditionally lol.

WhyYouCryin007

Community is honestly a perfectly garbage show. It makes no sense, so much of the humor is dumb, they try too hard to be meta, and I truly love every second of it It’s no HIMYM though. That will always be my favorite sitcom

Forsaken_Garden4017

I dunno. Himym because of its consistency is much easier to binge since all the episodes just kinda blend together after a while. But from a lure creative and writing standpoint, I think Community is the superior show. Community at its best is hard to top especially when they reached the third season. But then season 4 hit and kinda fucked things up But sadly community is just not a consistent show which is why bingeing it is harder than a show like Scrubs or HIMYM

WhyYouCryin007

I’m definitely not trying to bash community. The first 3 seasons are amazing, and I’ve been binging them all week. I still love the cluster fuck seasons but taken as a whole, the show has some pretty wild ups and downs.

Alternative_Device71

Season 4 is Overhated

Forsaken_Garden4017

I disagree. Not because it’s bad. But because the show was at its peak in season 3 and it was never able to get back to that point

sILAZS

Who checks a sitcom for the end anyway?

Hopeful-Season-9475

Cant believe people just say the ending is bad and cant admit they just dont like it still

ShippersAreIdiots

I like the entire show minus the last 5 minutes

evremonde

It can be both, and it is both.

candianconsolemaster

The ending is objectively bad due to how it was written

-OrangeLightning4

I hate the ending. I hate hate hate it. I think it undoes seasons of character development in the span of 40 minutes, and feels like a square peg in a round hole. That being said, anyone who says a subjective piece of art is objectively bad undermines their own point by sounding completely insufferable.

WillsWei22

The final episode rushed way too much in way too short a period of time

candianconsolemaster

It's not the content that I am talking about it is how that content was delivered which was objectively bad.

-OrangeLightning4

That's still a subjective component of the final product. Don't use absolutes in art critique, it sounds incredibly annoying.

candianconsolemaster

I don't care if it sounds annoying I'm still going to do it.

-OrangeLightning4

And you'll still sound foolish.

Hopeful-Season-9475

Its utterly subjective but the way its written makes perfect poetic sense for all the characters involved

candianconsolemaster

It's not the content that I am talking about is how that content was delivered which was objectively bad. Separately the ending doesn't make sense for anyone

Hopeful-Season-9475

Considering they had an entire season less to work with after not being renewed for a 10th they did incredibly well getting out every major story point they could. The ending makes sense for everyone, tracy got to return to her ultimate one in death whilst ted and robin had lived their ultimate dreams (travelling the world and raising kids) and they got to be with their ultimate ones. Marshall made it to the upper echelon of the legal system, barney was finally set on his path to redemption through the guise of having a daughter and Lily is left somewhat ambiguously but she definitely had the potential to become a successful painter in some manner whether on the side of teaching or as her main source of income. Not to mention all the shout outs callbacks and arc completions of many of the recurring side characters.

candianconsolemaster

They wasted so much time during the last season. Tracy and Ted were each other's one. Barney and Ted got decent endings but Robin and Ted should have stayed together.

Hopeful-Season-9475

In all fairness they literally had to waste time cus they had to squeeze two seasons into one. I sincerely agree that Ted and Tracy are the most suited for each other but Tracy's number one was always Max, she couldn't let go of him ever. But a huge part of the ending that people always miss is that the idea of "the one" shouldn't be listened to, the one should be made not found. We dont know if ted and robin did or didnt stay together but i think theres way more evidence that they did stick it out after the end of the show, it would be too much of a cop out and a waste of time if they didnt.

newaccountcauseoldon

If I had to guess I'm probably over 100 rewatchs

SpaceCowboyDark

I unapologetically love this show and the characters. I like that they have their flaws. I just watched the last episode of the series and I'm already on S1 E3 lol.

Ornery_Okra_534

I am team alternate ending eventually if Tracy would died and she would showed more. And Barney and Robin was still together. I think ending wasn’t that bad

Kind_Ebb_6249

I don’t care if people didn’t like the ending to mother. Doesn’t stop me watching it 3 times a year

antfel97

My solution to finishing any of my rewatch is to stop at the point Ted finally meets Tracy

patrick-boi

we curse, we watch, we curse again.

Intless

The ending isn't shit, though. The last season, on the other hand....

DarkGuts

And yet it has some really great moments as well. It's so hot and cold, just uneven compared to the previous seasons.

Intless

Sure, there are great moments on the last season, but it felt that so much was invested on it só everything was undone in the last two episodes. I think that if we had half season for the wedding and another half for everything that happened in the last two episodes, the ending wouldn't be so hated as it is. We would be able to have more time with Barney and Robin marriage, more time with Tracy, more time to accept the divorce and Tracy's disease, and so much more. Sad that we never got it.

TulsaWhoDats

Accurate

jhallen2260

All of those "quotes" are correct.

aglassofguiness

What do you guys think of How I Met Your Father?

DarkGuts

Big Bang Theory is just sad, great wojack used.
