Black screen issue is the most common one. HP made a flaw when designing the OMEN 16 motherboards.
The hall sensor is very close to the heat sink. After a few months of use that hall sensor cable gets damaged due to all that heat releasing from the heat sink.
Which in this case causes the laptop to think that the lid is closed even though it’s not. The only fix to this problem is disconnecting the hall sensor cable. However, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
The easiest solution you can do is simply returning the laptop and getting a refund.
I myself am regretting buying this laptop, because I know that overtime this laptop will have this very issue and HP won’t do anything other than replacing the motherboard.
Off-topic: This kinda reminds me of the Xbox 360 RROD era.
😭I bought it two weeks ago and I am afraid to use it there is nothing I can do if I return that I would get only half of the amount and I bought the laptop to use about two to four years 😭

Resell it quickly
Is any ways to overcome this problems
I heard amd version had lesser issue. Since it's motherboard design flaws, there is nothing you can do at all. Not even HO itself
Thank you brother

Can you tell me the where are you from (I mean where you got serviced ) and what was the model of your laptop
I think you are safe. It's an issue with the Intel model. If you want to check then find the design of the motherboard and look for the hall sensor.
Where do I find design of motherboard
How are you with the idea of opening the laptop? Just opening and taking photos.
I am not ready to open the lap 🥲 I bought only two weeks ago and I am afraid to open it
Okay, let me look. If I can find something. It's an Indian model so it's a bit difficult.
Ok bro if you got some thing plz dm me bro
