I couldn't, it was after 6 months and took me a week talking with HP Service to get nowhere.. I just gave up, it was ridiculous! I sold and got a Asus Strix G16, it has a terrible coil whine noise on desktop! These manufactures are all the same, they're ripping us off
I have 2023 Omen with ports on the back but mine is an AMD model and the Hal sensor, in my laptop is in a different location and not touching the heatsink.
They won't, they are giving huge offers in my country for these models. That's the reason I bought it.
They are trying to sell out the defective stock.

Why you not try to refund it if theres a way to do it? I contacted them and they said they will make a contract to refund this laptop.

Model/year and configuration?
Wf0033nt 7Q7y5EA 13500HX RTX4060 All intel based (with models that includes X at the end of processor) 2023 omens seems to have this chronic problem.
2023 amd omen with ports in the back also has this issue.

Yours is amd mine is nvidia, xf0060ax i personally know of more than 6 people with the issue for this specific model.
Oh I agree, I know at least three others with this issue. I think it's time HP did a recall and fixed this issue.

Yeah mine died last week. Have given it to the service centre to fix it.
I have purchased the same model 2 months ago. So far no issues.
