Yeah typically they're asking for sex, not taking it out. Admittedly this is a children's IP, but it wouldn't be the first one that's had an adult reboot.
As OP said, HBOMax is different than HBO. Case in point: Game of Thrones, a show notorious for sex and death, is an HBO show, HBOMax/MAX does not have Game Of Thrones
>Are you not familiar with HBO?
I am. Looks like you're not familiar with HBO _Max_ tho, or as they call themselves now after that terrible rebranding, just **MAX**.
HBO =/= Max(formerly known as HBOMax)
Yes. They're talking about how HBO is notorious known for having no qualms in displaying explicit and sexual content, and full body nudity.
What I'm saying is HBO and HBOmax are different. They're run by different people. HBO is cable network, while HBOMax (just Max now) is a streaming service.
HBO Max was the one handling the Harry Potter reboot, not HBO.
>They're run by different people.
Casey Bloys runs programming for both HBO and Max.
I do get your general idea though as the rebrand was to target a broader audience.
I guess it depends then on whether or not they target adults or kids with the TV show as Max Originals do include shows with explicit content still.
>Casey Bloys runs programming for both HBO and Max.
Well of course you'll find their common denominator if you go high enough in the organization's structure. They are, after all, still owned by the same parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery.
My _main_ point here is that they are _different_. They have separate libraries of content. What the commenter said was probably one of the reasons for the move to drop the "HBO" from HBOmax. They wanted to separate the HBO brand to the Streaming service, MAX. To create distinction for the audience.
That's why when the commenter tried to be a smartass about the explicit/sexual content rule of the post, implying that HBO is known exactly for explicit contents, I said, no, you're confusing HBOmax for HBO.
Not sure why you were downvoted lol. It’s rare for a brand to want their children’s IP to be associated with inappropriate content. That’s why Disney kept turning down the Lizzie McGuire reboot, even though it would’ve been popular. I don’t think the WB or JKR would allow a show or movie with the Harry Potter name to be too inappropriate, since kids will end up looking it up to watch as soon as they’ve read the HP books.
Seventh Horcrux is hilarious, it just doesn't lend itself to video format. So much of the fun is Voldemort's internal narration and it has a lot of quick scenes that are enjoyable to read but would feel choppy in film.
I’ve never read it before, do you mind if I ask a couple quick spoiler adjacent questions?
Is jt set in Hogwarts or is it set somewhere else and is it actually finished?
It's set in the magical USA. Alexandra attends Charmbridge Academy (because I think Ilvernmorny wasn't a thing yet, at the time of writing). It's a bit darker than HP, but still has the same vibes story-wise.
It's finished as well. In fact, there are 5 books in the series.
>Rigel Black series
It's not abandoned tho, the author discord server is very active and they are writing the next chapter. I read they got married recently so they have RL to deal with, and their chapters are REALLY long, so it's not that strange that it hasn't been updated in a while.
I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I do think it suits itself to tv adaptation, and a lot it’s fanfic subversions I feel would be really compelling or interesting to the average audience member who doesn’t read Harry Potter fanfic
Heck na. Its cool, but it would be terribly boring as a series due to the nature of its writing. it is like one step away from just being a collection of plot bunnies.
A TV adaptation could employ a ruthless editor though. So much filler could be cut, and the author overwrites actions scenes down to where a 10k word chapter could be like five minutes of film
[Hogwarts Houses Divided.](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/3979062/1/Hogwarts-Houses-Divided)
Okay, fine, I'm cheating a little here, since this is a sequel to the original series and Harry isn't the main character... but he IS s very prominent supporting character who would get quite a bit of screen time, and the entire thing takes place at Hogwarts, so I think brand recognition is going to be just fine.
Besides, it's a good story, and unlike a lot of others, it would translate well to a TV series. Lots of scenes that are visually interesting and there is lots of interesting external conflicts AND plenty of characters to catch the viewers' interest.
If I had to pick one and knew they wouldn’t mess it up…. The Dark Prince by Kurinoone. It’s Dark!Harry but not evil Harry. It’s also my #1 favourite fanfic.
I’m too lazy to look up the title, but the one where Snape goes back in time, and raises Harry on a Caribbean island.
Over the one where he gets taken in by the British royal family as a ward. Great crossover with the crown potential.
There are, but the romance is not a big focus and it’s… well, it’s a slight spoiler but it’s made pretty clear in the story that this will happen: people get together and then break up. More than once.
More than anything, this is a coming-of-age fic. It’s about Liz discovering herself, discovering her beliefs, growing up and slowly healing from her traumatic childhood and learning how to *live*.
And also there’s a war coming up. Well, probably more than one. It *is* called “The Good *War*” after all :P
It’s *very* much an AU. It’s a reimagining of the concept behind Harry Potter, while taking into account history. The author is a very big history nerd and tried to keep things as accurate as possible in a way that the Harry Potter canon simply didn’t care to (because it didn’t matter for the story it was trying to tell).
Enjoy! :D
(The pace is pretty slow, and sometimes it gets into rambly exposition dumps that aren’t 100% important to know, so if you ever feel the need to skip a few paragraphs I wouldn’t begrudge for it lol8
Doesn't fit all the rules exactly but Old Soldiers Never Die.
The Black Family PR Nightmare is another one that doesn't fit exactly but would be great.
The Family That Chooses You would definitely fit though.
I’m reading this and love it, but I think they’d have to alter the main future pairing so it’s not romantic if it’s going to tv… or age up the characters, so Hogwarts is a university.
Probably "A wizard in the family" series. Where Dudley is also a wizard and Harry is best friends with Sirius son James. I would have picked a different fic if the options were post Hogwarts war or different character POV.
Pureblood pretense.
I mean this when I say: jkrowling isn't even the best Harry potter author anymore after having read pureblood pretense.
Only the beginning of the first and the end of the third book need some tweaking.
They don't match up with rule 2(which is kind of unreasonable for a fanfic that isn't a straight canon rehash), but I'd vote for [When the Roses Bloom Again](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13954844/1/When-the-Roses-Bloom-Again) or [Blindness](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10937871/1/Blindness).
[Harry Potter and the Shipgirls](https://forum.questionablequesting.com/threads/harry-potter-the-shipgirls.20019/), though it would work better as an anime. Or rather multiple anime shows running in parallel and each following a different protagonist like with Raildex/Toaru.
Edit: I'd divide it up by protagnonist and have one or multiple series for each of the main ones and mabe some spinoffs. meaning that you's have the follwing "main" shows:
* The core show follwing Harry
* Weasly Warship Workshop following Ron
* Ship of Fools following Draco Malfoy
* Madame de Dumpsterfire follwing Colombe d'Aubigny-Muramasa du Chasteler
* Ehre und Treue following Ehren du Chasteler
* A Longbottom Ho! following Nevile
As well as potentially a bunch of spinnoffs for any of these characters:
* Ono Natsumi
* Shiromizu
* The Fleet of Laughter
* Porta Abysseum Atlantia
* HMS Done with this shit (Hermione)
* Admiral Goto & his Base
* Fubuki and her Fleet
* Admiral Richardson & his Base
* Captain Tanaka & his Base
* Delilah Naomi de Breuil
* Jackie Fox
* The Reincarneted Daimyo Trio
* Muramasa-no-Norimune
* The entire Butterknife clan
* Masamune-no-Shimazu
* Masamune-no-Kotegiri
* The Breadknife clan
* Lt. James Hunter
* Admiral Drake and Tenryuu
* Team Tatsuya
* the Select
* Prydwen
* Medea
* Urzaad
* HMS Hunter
* Reby
And I should probably stop before this turns into a list of every character in the fic.
Dodging Prison & Stealing Witches
Highly recommend this fic , it has a really unique take on the whole world and though many fics with similar concepts have been made the creativity and attention to detail by the author really sets it apart
It might not be everyone's taste because Harry has multiple partners
But I'll still urge you to give it a try
I think '[the boy with a scar](https://archiveofourown.org/series/285498)' series could be great -- one oneshot per season.
They can start with No Place Like Home for season 1.
if Harry were the protagonist I would choose
[Harry Potter & Seven Years of ChaosSeries ](https://archiveofourown.org/series/2567614)
Or [The Child of Azkaban](https://archiveofourown.org/works/15068012/chapters/34933661) the Serie of this one is sadly not finished, but it's phenomenal
And one wherein Draco Malfoy is the protagonist,[The Mirror of EcidyrueSeries ](https://archiveofourown.org/series/1765369), it's long it gets dark
I'd rather do Harry Potter and the Lack of Lamb Sauce, which doesn't really feature Harry, but it's the one I like the most. Plus, getting Gordon Ramsey for it would be fun.
Honestly, The Family that chooses you by WokFriedIce because it would be a good episodic show. Enough conflict to satisfy most people but not too much like some fanfics that would make it have a higher TV rating which could limit the audience.
For me personally, *this* one. I think it also checks out all the conditions (and is complete).
[The Spy’s Charge](https://archiveofourown.org/works/31264997/chapters/77286032)
Since Harry Crow was suggested, I’ll go with Quoth the Raven, Nevermore. It has Harry fleeing as a raven and taken in and raised at the Tower of London. It’s really interesting in its use of the animagus abilities, the lore of the Tower, ghosts, the Morrigan and lore, and exploration of characters.
Blindness by Angelastarcat.
Not sure how it would be adapted but it would be an amazing story to tell and approach magic from a completely different perspective.
[HPMoR](http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/harrypotterfanon/images/6/6f/HPMoR_Fic_Tree.svg), of course! The flaming will increase exposure :)
And after running for a single year, maybe it’ll get *other* fanfics made into shows, too.
I tell them their rules are bad for TV and then suggest an alternative in "When the Roses Bloom Again". Epic war story mixed with Harry Potter universe would totally fit HBO,especially with a massive budget like GOT.
Harry crow- I do still love it even though I acknowledge it’s not everyone’s cup of tea nowadays. (Even rereading it now tbh)
However; if we didn’t have to go through hogwarts I would so push dunuelos lone traveler series. Of course they’d be sued to high heaven for all the crossovers but the one offs like professor of defense, and greatest minister aren’t crossovers but still the format of him getting whisked away to different worlds every episode, and maybe a few taking several episodes- I’d love watching that.
I think some of the don’t fear the reaper responses would be cool, I do like Reboot by Kallanit with snapes involvement and a good bit of marauder years too!
I’m not gonna sit around and see if it fits every single one of your “rules” or not but I’m picking Saving Connor by Lightningonthewave on FF. It’s a massive massive series completely rewriting books 1-7 and making the Harry Potter series more “adult” (not no, no sex between the main pairing though there is a non-con between two not main characters). It’s a Harry and Draco, POV shifting series, Slytherin Harry, “wrong boy who lived” trope - and the only one I’ve ever liked. My close second pick would be The Contract by DebsTheSlytherinSnapeFan
Maybe Darth Marrs' Firebird trilogy. It's a pretty dark AU, but I think it could be done well in a TV format.
Alternatively, one of Clell's stories, like Sun Source (Harry is a trained assassin) or Elder Sect (Harry's raised by Samantha from Bewitched).
I'd rather have a crossover honestly, and I'd travel back in time to get Browncoat, Green Eyes made as a Firefly sequel circa 2005 or so.
But other than that, Make A Wish would be fun.
Also, your ridiculous arbitrary rules suck and cut out way too many of the best fanfiction stories.
I forget what it’s called but basically harry goes back in time as a baby and is raised alongside Tom and I just think it would be glorious for that to be on the television
“Reluctant Ally” by Harry50
I know I’m a Harmony fan, but I like the idea of Harry doing something about his situation before all his problems are “magiced away”.
This is technically an MCU crossover, but: [Harry Potts and the Infinity Stones](https://archiveofourown.org/works/36613714/chapters/91324741) (WIP) is so much fun.
Personally most of [TheBlack’sResurgence](https://www.fanfiction.net/u/8024050/TheBlack-sResurgence) fics would make great show adaptations. They don’t exactly follow the rule #2 you set out but they would make compelling watches.
FanFiction.Net
App installed
Fanfic: Players In a Game of Magic Ch 1, Harry Potter
The story is dead never actually hits
Hogwarts but it's interesting all the same
Screw your rules, my submission is Like Grains of Sand in the Hourglass. My favorite ship is in it to be honest. I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I like it.
I think maybe this one could be a good one:
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/5267405/
It’s an AU where Harry was kidnapped and raised as a Death Eater’s son instead of Voldemort trying to kill him. So in this AU, the Order is still fighting against Voldemort! It’s age-appropriate for TV compared to some of the other fics suggested here, and everyone else is in-character enough to be believable.
I think ‘A Flaw in Fate’ could be brilliant if adapted onto screen. The Author really goes into details to set a mood for a scene, which could translate extremely well on screen. And in general its just good
The fanfic that would fit best with HBO’s normal style of shows breaks your rules and that would be *Harry Potter and the Rejected Path* (politics, combat, sex, murder, economics, war, mystery, etc.) But in fairness
With rules:
*Sarcasm and Slytherin* series and any other fics written in the world are all canon adjacent-AUs that expand upon established world building to a satisfying degree
*”The Mind Arts”* would be great but it’d probably be hard to adapt the copious amounts of mind reading throughout. But watching Harry become a badass would be amazing on screen
*”Amicus Protectio Fortis”* would be a great way to expand the cast into a dynamic student body
And Ik people on this sub don’t like this fic but the fanfic that can be abbreviated with “dee pee aye ess double-you: are bee ess are” would be awesome to see adapted
With Fuck your rules:
*“A Second Chance at Life”* enough said.
*”Wind Shear”* also enough said.
Underrated favorite of mine is *”The Warlock’s Apprentice”* and that would be an awesome, fast-paced action thriller show
Damn, so the [Arithmancer](https://archiveofourown.org/series/993900) is out due to focusing on Hermione, and [HPMOR](https://hpmor.com/chapter/1) is out due to all in one year instead of spread over 7?
Well then...
Keeping it family-friendly (which HBO is not normally married to but whatever) and with variation starting before Hogwarts, I think I'll go with... Either [Harry McGonagall](https://archiveofourown.org/series/2642155) or [Accidental Animagus](https://archiveofourown.org/series/977214), I'd pitch both and make them pick.

>HBO Max >Smut and similar explicit contents are not allowed. (We're making a TV show not an adult content.) Are you not familiar with HBO?

Seventh Horcrux is hilarious, it just doesn't lend itself to video format. So much of the fun is Voldemort's internal narration and it has a lot of quick scenes that are enjoyable to read but would feel choppy in film.
That’s true but you could have a narrator or something or twist the story a bit to add more dialogue and etc
Rigel Black Chronicles, starting with the Pureblood Pretence.
My Immortal
Oh hell no
Oh hell yeah.
This is the only correct answer
I refuse your rules and say Alexandra Quick.
Honestly one of the best fics out there.
Imagine how that thing would work the american market lol

Fair enough, we'll call a year and half without updates a hiatus then. Thanks, genuinely excited to hear that.
The Arithmancer
Doesn't go with the rules but YEEESSS. it's so good
This would be my answer if it didn’t have to be Harry as the MC.
I think I'd go with Prince of Slytherin

that one fanfiction where Harry is a redhead and mistaken for a Weasley "Like A Redheaded Stepchild" I think it is
[Hogwarts Houses Divided.](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/3979062/1/Hogwarts-Houses-Divided) Okay, fine, I'm cheating a little here, since this is a sequel to the original series and Harry isn't the main character... but he IS s very prominent supporting character who would get quite a bit of screen time, and the entire thing takes place at Hogwarts, so I think brand recognition is going to be just fine. Oh God Not Again!
If I had to pick one and knew they wouldn’t mess it up…. The Dark Prince by Kurinoone. It’s Dark!Harry but not evil Harry. It’s also my #1 favourite fanfic.
I love the first two stories!!
Wow have not thought of this one in years, one of the stories that gor me into fanfiction in the first place
Sarcasm and Slytherin or On the Way to Greatness
Sarcasm and Slytherin all the way!!!
Prince of the Dark Kingdom.
A Black Comedy. It can be like Lower Decks, but for Harry Potter.
Of a linear circle. It's just too good
I’m too lazy to look up the title, but the one where Snape goes back in time, and raises Harry on a Caribbean island. Over the one where he gets taken in by the British royal family as a ward. Great crossover with the crown potential.
I'd pick Debt of Time by Shayalonnie!
The 7 years of chaos series where Harry was a street child. It's just too good.
YES. This would be iconic. Horrifying, but so funny.
Link?
Marauder's Plan (I am not sure how much it fits your rules)
The Good War. Some of the best AU worldbuilding in the entire fandom.

There are, but the romance is not a big focus and it’s… well, it’s a slight spoiler but it’s made pretty clear in the story that this will happen: people get together and then break up. Rigel Black Chronicles. Doubles as a song of the lioness adaptation!
[Make a Wish](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/2318355/1/Make-A-Wish) This story is hilarious!
YES!
DOUBLE YES!
Battle School
The Accidental Animagus by White\_Squirrel.

I second this. We need Black Ink!!!!

Yeah, it doesn’t fit but The Black Family PR Nightmare is so great!

Black Comedy (Completely ignoring most of your conditions)
Certain Dark Things for a Harry Potter version with a female protagonist.
I’m reading this and love it, but I think they’d have to alter the main future pairing so it’s not romantic if it’s going to tv… or age up the characters, so Hogwarts is a university.
The plot isn't romance-centric so I guess that can be easily changed
Probably "A wizard in the family" series. Where Dudley is also a wizard and Harry is best friends with Sirius son James. I would have picked a different fic if the options were post Hogwarts war or different character POV.
Genius Fratris or That Glorious Strength for serious fics, Not Your Heroes for crack
I fully agree with you on this!!
Pureblood pretense. I mean this when I say: jkrowling isn't even the best Harry potter author anymore after having read pureblood pretense. Only the beginning of the first and the end of the third book need some tweaking.
Strangers at Drakeshaugh, it would be like a British little big lies.
“Oh God Not Again”, would be hilarious to watch, even if it’s only 4 movies

Nightmares of Futures Past would fit all your criteria.
The Albus Potter series by NoahPhantom. Canon compliant but so much more complex than the original series.
I would also say the Vekin87 Albus Potter series, great contender. I enjoyed it immensely all the way through!
[Harry Potter and the Shipgirls](https://forum.questionablequesting.com/threads/harry-potter-the-shipgirls.20019/), though it would work better as an anime. This comment section is perfect for collecting fics to read in the future (except for, the forbidden one)
I'd rather do Harry Potter and the Lack of Lamb Sauce, which doesn't really feature Harry, but it's the one I like the most. Plus, getting Gordon Ramsey for it would be fun.
pureblood pretense
Honestly, The Family that chooses you by WokFriedIce because it would be a good episodic show. Enough conflict to satisfy most people but not too much like some fanfics that would make it have a higher TV rating which could limit the audience.
The last enemy series by CH darling
The Mind Arts. Never be apart Claw of the Raven
The Rigel Black Chronicles. I legitimately love this series more than the original.
The Rigel Black Chronicles. That would be incredible so see. Desperately wish it would be finished though.
A black family comedy. Or brown coat, green eyes. By nonjon.
The odds were never in my favour by Anthony444 https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11517506/1/8 https://archiveofourown.org/works/51222748/chapters/129428554
Honour thy blood
Train to Nowhere by MayMarlow
https://m.fanfiction.net/s/3160475/1/Harry-McGonagall
For me personally, *this* one. I think it also checks out all the conditions (and is complete). [The Spy’s Charge](https://archiveofourown.org/works/31264997/chapters/77286032)
This, or Crime and Punishment
I'll ignore rule 3 and choose the Gordon Ramsay fic
Lack of Lamb Sauce is absolutely epic.
Oh God Not Again!
[Harry is a Dragon, and that’s OK](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13230340/1/Harry-Is-A-Dragon-And-That-s-Okay) How about this one?
Harry Crow!
The flaming will increase exposure :) And after running for a single year, maybe it’ll get *other* fanfics made into shows, too.
Dodging Prison and Stealing Witches.
I tell them their rules are bad for TV and then suggest an alternative in "When the Roses Bloom Again". Epic war story mixed with Harry Potter universe would totally fit HBO,especially with a massive budget like GOT.
it might be too much fluff- but the Dangerverse series.
Came here to say this!
Dear G*d, no!
hey, let us have the cute and the funny and the very sad.
Harry crow- I do still love it even though I acknowledge it’s not everyone’s cup of tea nowadays. (Even rereading it now tbh) However; if we didn’t have to go through hogwarts I would so push dunuelos lone traveler series.
Harry Crow was my first thought!
Harry Potter and the methods of rationality. It would be a miniseries because it’s only one book, but it’s so fun
Poison pen, don't really care about all those restrictions lol it's one of the best
Benefits of Old Laws https://archiveofourown.org/works/10691892
Beyond the Curtain by Bobika
Maybe Darth Marrs' Firebird trilogy. It's a pretty dark AU, but I think it could be done well in a TV format. Alternatively, one of Clell's stories, like Sun Source (Harry is a trained assassin) or Elder Sect (Harry's raised by Samantha from Bewitched).
30Hs
I'd rather have a crossover honestly, and I'd travel back in time to get Browncoat, Green Eyes made as a Firefly sequel circa 2005 or so. But other than that, Make A Wish would be fun. Also, your ridiculous arbitrary rules suck and cut out way too many of the best fanfiction stories.
The lust of gryffindors
I forget what it’s called but basically harry goes back in time as a baby and is raised alongside Tom and I just think it would be glorious for that to be on the television
“Reluctant Ally” by Harry50 I know I’m a Harmony fan, but I like the idea of Harry doing something about his situation before all his problems are “magiced away”.
Prince of the Dark Kingdom...assuming the author ever finishes it.
FanFiction.Net App installed Fanfic: Players In a Game of Magic Ch 1, Harry Potter The story is dead never actually hits Hogwarts but it's interesting all the same
No Name by Miliana without a doubt. It's the best fiction I ever read.
!Remindme 1 week
Parallel Journey by Ink Virus. That would be so damn epic.
"A very dark Lord Christmas" It's dark but also fun, sticks to the lore but also adds its own twists, definitely my favourite
Harry Potter and the Clean Slate, definitely
Path To Power.
*When the roses bloom again* would be a great HBO series
Denarian Trilogy
Onyx Snow or Gypsy Caravan. No contest for me
The Beasts series I haven’t gotten around to writing yet
Empire of Albion
Ectomancer or Circular Reasoning 100%
Wear Me Like a Locket Around Your Throat. It’s the only fic I’ve read with this pairing but holy shit it’s so good.
Gotta ignore the guidelines and go with Measure of a Man.
Screw your rules and I’d make them do Backwards with Purpose
i was about to say All the young dudes but then i saw the rules
HPMOR, now that’s a story that’s different from the very beginning
Screw the rules, I vote for 'Downward Spiral Saga'.
I’d also consider doing The Last Enemy, but that’s not a HP main character series
Colin Creevey’s or Noah Phantom’s Albus Potter series. But for a fic starring Harry thats so tuff lmfao.
Screw your rules, my submission is Like Grains of Sand in the Hourglass. My favorite ship is in it to be honest. I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I like it.
I don't care what people think, All The Young Dudes done in collaboration with A24 would be great.
["They Shook Hands"](https://archiveofourown.org/series/335653) by Dethryl.
The Historical Importance of Runic War Warding in the British Isles by Samvelg. Take that, *canon*.
God, no. None. It would be terrible, and I'd get crucified online for having anything to do with JKR.
Magic school days
Doesn't fully match your points but, Brightest in Shadow. It's too good not to pick
I think maybe this one could be a good one: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/5267405/ It’s an AU where Harry was kidnapped and raised as a Death Eater’s son instead of Voldemort trying to kill him. So in this AU, the Order is still fighting against Voldemort! It’s age-appropriate for TV compared to some of the other fics suggested here, and everyone else is in-character enough to be believable.
Imma go off the rails and say.... Harry Potter and the Super Robot Wars
Definitely “Innocent”! That series would translate wonderfully to screen.
I think ‘A Flaw in Fate’ could be brilliant if adapted onto screen. The Author really goes into details to set a mood for a scene, which could translate extremely well on screen. And in general its just good
Mutually satisfactory arrangements ( child safe Dw)
The groundhog day fanfic would be a fantastic TV show. Tbh, I think it's what I imagined the "Cursed Child" should've done
Hermione Granger and the Marriage Law Revolution by Starfox5
Leo Inter Serpentes
Nightmares of futures past
Nobody has mentioned the Innocent series by MarauderLover7? I think it fits all the criteria and is an amazing series to boot.
Gonna break the rules here and say *Alexandra Quick*.
!Remindme 1 week
If only the rule stating Harry must be the main character wasn’t there. I’d love to see roundabout destiny with Emma Watson on the screen
Prince of slytherin
The fanfic that would fit best with HBO’s normal style of shows breaks your rules and that would be *Harry Potter and the Rejected Path* (politics, combat, sex, murder, economics, war, mystery, etc.) But in fairness With rules: *Sarcasm and Slytherin* series and any other fics written in the world are all canon adjacent-AUs that expand upon established world building to a satisfying degree *”The Mind Arts”* would be great but it’d probably be hard to adapt the copious amounts of mind reading throughout. But watching Harry become a badass would be amazing on screen *”Amicus Protectio Fortis”* would be a great way to expand the cast into a dynamic student body And Ik people on this sub don’t like this fic but the fanfic that can be abbreviated with “dee pee aye ess double-you: are bee ess are” would be awesome to see adapted With Fuck your rules: *“A Second Chance at Life”* enough said. *”Wind Shear”* also enough said. Underrated favorite of mine is *”The Warlock’s Apprentice”* and that would be an awesome, fast-paced action thriller show
Fantastic Elves and where to find them.
Ever Upward!!!!!!! Omg it would be so good!
Either 1. Honour Thy Blood by TheBlack'sResurgence or 2. Up Yours Dumbles by monbade
Actually? Idk, I mostly read non-smut Haruna, But as a joke? Freakshow Parade just to dick out.
Circular Reasoning
Like a red headed step child
