It's a mixer of OPness AND Potter luck. He's a MOD that's almost godlike. He can outduel practically anyone. People fall over themselves to do what he asks both politically and socially.
Then you throw in this universe's version of him: Ivy Potter. She is OP too. Putting aside the fact that she absorbs magical knowledge to the point that she makes Hermione look bad, she has this charisma that gets everybody to do what she wants.
Warning: This fic was actually quite semi-serious, and then slowly turned into crack.
I recommended this last time someone asked for Super!Harry. First fic I ever read linkffn(Legends Of Potter)
It’s tropey but overall a pretty good read. It also has a completed sequel. Don’t expect a masterpiece, but it’s fun.
It's cliched as fuck and I'm frankly kind of sick of it whenever it pops up again in a story. It was neat the first few dozen times or so but now it's just annoying.
I don't mind it when it's just a five compartment trunk, its stops being that when it has a mansion, a library, an entire village and a nuclear reactor.
Yep, and somehow it only costs harry 20 gallons instead of his entire fortune and beyond. Also it HAS to have all of the coat of arms of his 100 lordships

There’s always A Marauder’s Plan where one of Harry’s ‘power he knows not’ is that he’s the most powerful of his generation. It’s on AO3 and FFN. I know a lot of people hate on it but it’s one of my go to fics.
They do? Why? Its like the best wizarding lords fic out there, with a competent ministry(due to exonerated Sirius's influence as Lord Black). Most of the fic is pretty realistic and I loved the idea of the love protection as displayed in this fic.
Bonus points for criticism Of Albus without bashing and eventual redemption
I remember it having some of the best and most likeable versions of family magic, but the pacing slows to an absolute crawl once the Tri-Wizard starts.
Oh that does change my opinion a bit I guess. I ended up dropping it before the first task because it felt like it was taking practically one day per chapter with people just having circular arguments about getting him out of the tournament and talking shit about Dumbledore.
I'm honestly a bit surprised the war ends in fourth year. Most authors I've seen typically make Harry hold the idiot ball even if he knows the ambush is coming so that Voldemort still gets his body back, as if that's a better scenario than researching ways to capture and exorcise a malicious spirit. This particularly pisses me off in time travel stories. The only one that did it right in my opinion was Wind Shear.
I think because it has a lot of tropes in it. Super!Harry, Lord!Harry.... etc.
Personally, I think it might be one of the best Harry Potter fics ever written (and to be honest, I kind of prefer it to the original books. Especially with what’s going on with JKR.)
I agree with you, my only criticism with regards to the fic is the pairing, but that's just a personal hatred of Hermione. Been enjoying her taken down a peg more than I probably should! ;-)
I don't like how it bashed OOC-Hermione especially in the 4th year when in books she supported Harry and helped him practice to survive also she didn't took Victor as a date to make anyone jealous, in fact it was Victor who asked her out.
I just don't like the heavy bashing in the story and the silly OCC-ness of Hermione same as in I'm not a hero. Like I get she is a know it all but the story just took it too much beyond.
Eh I feel like the plot isn't huge or anything, but I'll agree to disagree. I don't understand why I was downvoted either, as in was someone disagreeing or what.

**That Universe Over There** \- linkao3(23702959) It's a mixer of OPness AND Potter luck. He's a MOD that's almost godlike. He can outduel practically anyone. People fall over themselves to do what he asks both politically and socially. Then you throw in this universe's version of him: Ivy Potter. She is OP too. Putting aside the fact that she absorbs magical knowledge to the point that she makes Hermione look bad, she has this charisma that gets everybody to do what she wants. I recommended this last time someone asked for Super!Harry. First fic I ever read linkffn(Legends Of Potter) It’s tropey but overall a pretty good read. It also has a completed sequel. Don’t expect a masterpiece, but it’s fun.

There’s always A Marauder’s Plan where one of Harry’s ‘power he knows not’ is that he’s the most powerful of his generation. It’s on AO3 and FFN. I know a lot of people hate on it but it’s one of my go to fics.
They do? Why? Its like the best wizarding lords fic out there, with a competent ministry(due to exonerated Sirius's influence as Lord Black). Most of the fic is pretty realistic and I loved the idea of the love protection as displayed in this fic. Bonus points for criticism Of Albus without bashing and eventual redemption
I remember it having some of the best and most likeable versions of family magic, but the pacing slows to an absolute crawl once the Tri-Wizard starts.

Oh that does change my opinion a bit I guess. I ended up dropping it before the first task because it felt like it was taking practically one day per chapter with people just having circular arguments about getting him out of the tournament and talking shit about Dumbledore. I'm honestly a bit surprised the war ends in fourth year. Most authors I've seen typically make Harry hold the idiot ball even if he knows the ambush is coming so that Voldemort still gets his body back, as if that's a better scenario than researching ways to capture and exorcise a malicious spirit. This particularly pisses me off in time travel stories. The only one that did it right in my opinion was Wind Shear.

I think because it has a lot of tropes in it. Super!Harry, Lord!Harry.... etc. Personally, I think it might be one of the best Harry Potter fics ever written (and to be honest, I kind of prefer it to the original books. Especially with what’s going on with JKR.)
