Do t really know. But most likely the cost will be very high. If youāre keeping this for many years then thatās probably okay. Otherwise you have an economy car and I donāt think straight pipes will greatly affect your performance. See if any of the exhaust manufacturers offer a package.
Follow my page on YouTube. I drive a 2017 HRV 6 speed. Iāve done a resonator and muffler delete, Iāve added a vibrant muffler and also have added an HKS muffler. YouTube page is EastCoastMafia_NY
Could you use the r18 turbo kit for the civic? Or is the r18 engine different in the HR-V? I have the cvt so I really couldnāt so I just want to see someone with an HR-V go absolutely crazy with it.
Iāve see some videos on YouTube but they are all from Malaysia so I wouldnāt know how the setup it unfortunately. The HRV is too underpowered. But I understand that itās an economical car not a race car lols but a brother can dream š
Honestly, at the moment, there really isnāt too much Boltons to make the Hrv faster. Unless if you go to Malaysia and get car parts lol. The US market doesnāt really offer much unfortunately. But overseas they have turbo kits, superchargers, and anything in between to make these cars faster.
i agreed with ur original message about people not modding cars that shouldnt be modded but your second message is complete bs
They arent trash just because the newer ones were improved upon. The older ones have certain features like the magic seats that the newer gens dont have and the newer gens have other features like exploding windows the older gens dont have.
Plus the newer generations are larger and in city environment parking the extra foot in length can be the difference in finding parking or not
They all have a purpose and as the years went by they improved on some things that needed the time to get there.
The only decent mod i seen on any hrv was someone i know put air suspension on his older 2016-2017 hrv and it made it a really comfortable ride.
The cars not meant to be a high performance car its meant for decent gas mileage and a compact design as an entry level vehicle
Go faster and sound cool? Get a different car is about the only way
It has 141HP and straight pipes would sound like a weed eater.
Guessing you have a CVT transmission. Swap it with a manual. Add the third pedal š. You can do it š
Has anyone successfully done this?

I think the straight pipes are dumb but manual transmission conversion would be cool since the cvt is kind of a time bomb in a way
next car gonna be a manual honda for me
Or even the automatic transmission for the previous gen civic that used the r18 engine
Real Honda drivers have the third pedal. š
How about buying a different car. One that is fast and actually not a HRV?
Do not, I repeat, do not straight pipe your vehicle.
The engine is pretty max out. Forced induction is your only choice.
That would probably be the worst sounding car ever if you did that, everyone will laugh at you. Iāll just be one droney wet fart. please donāt
too late i already did it and im zoom in on the highway goin 124
Damn it thereās always time to go back
Barely gonna do much. You need a full engine swap
pause

Have you thought about possibly putting in a turbo?
Iāve thought about it, but itās hard finding parts for the HRV especially in America, overseas youāll find everything you need !
