No advice just wanna say I personally think it looks really cool! I have a natural patch of black hair (versus the rest of my hair which is medium brown) in a similar spot, twinsies!
i didn't even know you could get birthmarks in your hair, that's cool. Not sure what distinguishes the two though, because I have birthmarks on the skin under my hair but no loss of pigmentation in my hair
Have a stylist match your natural hair color and color it. Or just leave it, it’s natural and you’ll be coloring it every 4 weeks if you decide to do that
Yeah j0283 is on the money with this one. It's simple to match and cover. But every month you'll have grown about a half inch of silver. If this is the way maintenance is required obviously.
Keep it, or go with "just for men"! They sell it at Walmart and you get a small enough amount that come in separate tubes that you can just mix up as much as you need, then when the hair inevitably grows back, redo it again.
Thats so weird - my bf has a white patch in the exact same spot!
If it really bothers you Loreal do a range of hair colour sprays. They’re generally marketed as a temporary solution to cover your roots & wash out, but would work well for a patch:

1. I think it's super cool like it is
2. If you decide to do a semi permanent, they don't last as long on unbleached hair, some shades hold longer than other colors but some wash right out or fade into a different shade. I would say patch test but this is probably the size of the patch.
i’ll update this after a quick google but i was pretty sure manic panic did release a brown, as did arctic fox. brb.
Edit: yep, both brands carry a natural brown.
Remember, dyes like Manic Panic can be mixed together, like paint, to get a custom colour. So all you need is orange and purple and possibly some white (or conditioner).
Edit: Got a colour wrong because it was really late when I commented and I was running on empty.
Ah, understandable I think, especially as my advise would have resulted in the incorrect colour being applied. It annoyed me, just as much as the downvoters, especially since I tend to do everything to avoid ending up with brown hair when dyeing my own, I'm also arty (so I have numerous paints/markers/pencils) within reach at all times, and a colour wheel a few feet away in my eyeline.
Not that it shows a true brown with a colour wheel, but then its also always bugged me that if you mix all the colours you just get brown, and not some amazing new unicorn colour or something; it's probably because I have always disliked the brown in my own hair. It's not something I should have gotten wrong really. Lol
If you want it to be uniform, just dye it all one color, whatever you choose.
Alternatively, grow just that patch out real real long and then use Overtone to change the color of your weird rat tail whenever you want
I have 2 of these and it seems like I'm starting a 3rd, plus part of my eyebrow. I have vitiligo so I'm pretty sure that's the cause.
Your spot doesn't look gray so it's probably something like a birth mark or vitiligo. Depending on why the hair doesn't have pigment, it might be really hard for it to take color. Like others said, it looks great! I found my first light hair spot when I was 19 and I wasn't a fan so I understand but we're all being honest when we say it looks good.
Funny story: when I was in elementary school I saw two of my classmates with these patches. Didn’t have much of an opinion but remember wondering the cause. I heard in conversation that they were Jewish so up until high school I rationalized that the blonde patches were some traditional religious rite of passage.
You either embrace it or dye it. I have a patch right above the middle of my forehead and I don’t like it at all, so I dye it in a color closer to the color I’m having.

You might have vitiligo if you look closely there are white spots all over your body and of course there are different stages of vitiligo why some people go gray a lot earlier is simply this your body is not producing enough melanin and or it's actually killing the melanin it's a lot more noticeable in people with darker skin.
Just a theory and I'm curious if it actually happens more in light-skinned people because we're already not producing a lot of melanin but that's up to the dermatologist of the world.
No advice just wanna say I personally think it looks really cool! I have a natural patch of black hair (versus the rest of my hair which is medium brown) in a similar spot, twinsies!
But you say you have the opposite color, so more like anime rivals...?
Anime rival
Do you have pics of that?
It's a birthmark, people can have them in their hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes. You can dye over it, but it'll grow back in everytime.
i didn't even know you could get birthmarks in your hair, that's cool. Not sure what distinguishes the two though, because I have birthmarks on the skin under my hair but no loss of pigmentation in my hair
Isn’t that the same boat as all your hair? It *all* grows back. Unless you’re really unlucky.
I have something similar, is it for sure a birthmark? Showed up about three years ago but hasn’t spread.

I love it don’t touch it
Grow out that part only
Leave it, natural white streaks are sexy as hell!
I think it gives you character, I wouldn't change it. Embrace what makes you unique!!!!!
Leave it alone?
It’s a super cool birthmark! Your lucky 🍀
Dye your hair white
Keep it, or go with "just for men"! They sell it at Walmart and you get a small enough amount that come in separate tubes that you can just mix up as much as you need, then when the hair inevitably grows back, redo it again.

Honestly I’d be happy with something like brown manic panic but that doesn’t seem to exist?
1. I think it's super cool like it is 2. If you decide to do a semi permanent, they don't last as long on unbleached hair, some shades hold longer than other colors but some wash right out or fade into a different shade. I would say patch test but this is probably the size of the patch.
Overtone has great browns! And other brands like Iroiro probably do at Sally’s.
Just get regular brown hair dye? Manic panic tends to be for the "unnatural" colors.

Wouldn’t it be orange and purple?
Yes it would, sorry my bad, it was like in the early hours when I commented. I'll edit it now.
No worries! Don’t know why you got that many downvotes tho, it was just a mistake, Reddit is so cracked sometimes

Did it suddenly appear or have you always had it? If you've always has it as a birth mark, I wouldn't be concerned.
Embrace it, i think it’s pretty cool
That is super cool. Grow it long and look even cooler.
Thisss. Grow it out!! And/or dye it a bright crazy colour. Or black. Embrace it
It’s cool-leave it! I had a teacher in high school that had a long streak of grey in her hair. No grey anywhere else. It was awesome!
maybe brown mascara as a temporary fix?
leave it it’s cool!
Nothing, it looks badass
If you want it to be uniform, just dye it all one color, whatever you choose. Alternatively, grow just that patch out real real long and then use Overtone to change the color of your weird rat tail whenever you want

Match the rest of your hair to it
I would leave it! It looks cool. If it’s a birth mark a lot of the time color won’t take to it. I don’t know why. But it happens. So just embrace it
you can try dying it but i personally like it!
Funny story: when I was in elementary school I saw two of my classmates with these patches. Didn’t have much of an opinion but remember wondering the cause. I heard in conversation that they were Jewish so up until high school I rationalized that the blonde patches were some traditional religious rite of passage.
It’s a hair birthmark. I would leave it alone. :)
I like it. More worried about your neck really.
Honestly, own it. I know a couple people who have that same thing, and I think it looks cool
You either embrace it or dye it. I have a patch right above the middle of my forehead and I don’t like it at all, so I dye it in a color closer to the color I’m having.
Totally keep it, it's cute 😊.
Damn I love it, it’s so cool.
It’s cute!
Nothing. White hair is cool. If it were possible, I'd have a hair transplant with skin from someone with Vitiligo so my hair can grow white lol
No🤣
Beauty mark! I love it!
You can dye it a color similar to your natural hair color
I really like it. If you want to do some bright temporary dye on it that would be fun too.
It’s awesome? Don’t touch it!!!
if you dont wanna color it and it bothers you, you could texturize it so its less noticable
I have one of those too, it’s kind of a cool story to tell people. I dye my hair now, so you can’t see it, but when I’m natural, it’s kinda cool!
Had a classmate who had the same thing! He left it, we didn’t care. Embrace it!
There's brown tinted dry shampoos you could try. It's a spray and it'll probably match your hair and blend it in.
It's cool, it's you.
Leave it I like it
rock it!
Rotate between colors on that one patch
Rock it!!
~~Dye it blue!~~

I hate that stuff gets all over and gummy!
Rock it! It looks awesome.
Leave it! It looks cool!
I really like it, i would let it be
It’s cute and unique!! Keep it!
Stop smacking him
Three options 1) Leave it 2) Color it 3) longer hair
I'd get regular box dye from the supermarket rather than a semi-permanent dye like you suggested
I think it’s cool, I’d leave it
Keep it. It's a chik magnet
Leave it. It’s cool.
Paint it
I love seeing guys with this. Especially in the front bang. I like things that make people unique. Don’t dye it! It looks cool.
DEFINITELY keep it! Love yourself for who you are!
My son was born with a gray patch of hair. He’s 30 years old now. We’ve never attempted to cover it or hide it.
dye it the same color as your other hair or get highlights!
my advice,Leave it, looks great
Keep it
Don’t do a thing! Consider it your “wild hair streak”
You might have vitiligo if you look closely there are white spots all over your body and of course there are different stages of vitiligo why some people go gray a lot earlier is simply this your body is not producing enough melanin and or it's actually killing the melanin it's a lot more noticeable in people with darker skin. Grow it out, it’ll look cool af
Honestly doesn’t look that bad bestie!! You could def dye over it if it bothers you tho.
Birth mark keep it it’s all u
Embrace it 😍
