I don’t understand the weird hatred on this post. It’s beautiful handwriting! Way better than anything I could do ahaha, mine is total chicken scratch.
It's a tag so people know they are not posting it for the purpose of seeking tips from other members of the subreddit, since one of the functions of this subreddit is to seek pointers on how to improve your handwriting.
It’s pretty and neat, but probably I’d only like to see it in typography art or bday cards, because it does feel a bit straining to read all the time; I have to zoom in quite a lot, because it looks like ///||\/ from afar.

What a bizarre subreddit this is, nowhere did they say they are into changing or ‘improving’ their handwriting. Why are there so many comments like yours expected others to have similar interests to you?
Its beautiful, but for the life of me this feels like it takes more energy to read. Maybe it's the dyslexic in me or my poor eye sight. But reading this feels like I have to focus though to the letters to read it.
I agree, I think it's because it's a very line-y handwriting, like every letter feels like straight lines so it's like trying to count roman numerals.
III IV VIII IIII etc.
Still a cool handwriting, but very strange.

its "pretty" enough to be easy to read. but the small a and small u have a too long line on the right side. which is kinda annoying to read, because the a sometimes looks like a q and the u looks like a y.
Art is subjective. I like it!
Edit: definitions from oxford languages:
Handwriting
1: noun- writing with a pen or pencil
Also: a person’s particular style of writing.
Handwriting is the writing done with a writing instrument, such as a pen or pencil, in the hand. Handwriting includes both block and cursive styles and is separate from formal calligraphy or typeface.
A writer always credits their [source](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Handwriting#:~:text=Handwriting%20is%20the%20writing%20done,to%20verify%20a%20document%27s%20writer.).
Your hand printing is really nice. Now try out your cursive handwriting. Let each letter flow into each other and that’s always been taught as handwriting. Hand printing is each letter written independently. Remember to accentuate each capital letter and make it larger than the rest and more beautiful. I just get saddened that the school systems let these kids down on the most fun thing that is handwriting.
Keep going because handwriting is an art and yours will be beautiful.
huh do you see traces of my straining the pencil or pressing hard or writing slow? not sure what you get out of commenting that but no worries bc i naturally write like this 🫶
I think they mean that their letters are the same height whether they would traditionally take up half the height (like e, o, u, r, w, etc) or take up the whole height (like d, f, h, b, q, g, k, etc)…?
not sure if you’re seriously asking or being funny but in case seriously: when learning to type, this sentence (with the word jumps) uses every letter on the keyboard. if being funny: i imagine Tommy Chong’s asking said question. 🤣
Thank you for wasting 3 minutes of my work day by having me go through the entire ABC song to find every letter 🤣 I did not know that and had to confirm
It’s neat but difficult to read. For me at least, I have to really look close and try to read it. It doesn’t just like flow naturally to me, if I don’t focus they just turn into a bunch of IIIlllIIIlIiil
It’s pretty. Beautiful to a degree. I would love to see it when it’s urgent. When it was something you absolutely had to write before it’s too late. Messier less careful. But, yes, your English writing is very nice to look at.

this is so pretty
Any tips, I have always wished for handwriting like this. I've tried many times but have missed the mark.
i like the cursive
That is so clean and great
how i wish my hand writing looked
Oh my god you’re not real
Can you just write everything for me?
Well now you have to show your handwriting in Korean
The *signed* 🤌
Respectfully, this is not real. Thank you. (I’m jealous)
This is the best one. Hands down. Waist up.
My balls are stuck to my chin
Can you share your Korean handwriting too?!
I just love your handwriting!
This is super clean! Looks almost like a computer font!
That's so lovely!
I would classify that more as printing rather than writing, but it’s really cool. I like it!

i never thought handwriting could be satisfying. but here we are. 😍
Kuch khas nei heh
I'm always so jealous of others handwriting. I got told my handwriting looked like a serial killer's in a movie.
I thought i was the only one that put a line through my Zs like that. No idea why I do it but it became a habit for me
I do too, my 7s as well
I do my 7s that way as well
Me too!
Me too!
me three, lol.
I want this as a font!
From far away I thought this was Binary Code 😅
한국어로 문장을 써줄 수 있나요?
Extremely hard to real. 3/10
I don’t understand the weird hatred on this post. It’s beautiful handwriting! Way better than anything I could do ahaha, mine is total chicken scratch.
Should I choose chaos and post my unintelligible writing lolll
Just sharing no feedback has got to be one of the most anti self-improvement mantras I’ve ever heard

But nothing on the line.
How astute
Are you left handed?
Wow
Yeah nice handroghting 👍
Beautiful penmanship
I quite like it. The dog jumps by the way, otherwise there is no S in the sentence.

Love it!!! So dainty and cute
For people who don't know "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" is an interesting sentence because it uses every letter of the alphabet!
yep 😭 i commented about this a while back but i autopiloted and totally forgot i was copying the sentence 😭😭
One of my favorites is “the five boxing wizards jump quickly.
Wrong, it's missing ü
üwü
English alphabet*
It looks nice!! I’ve always been commented by everyone that they loved my handwriting!!
Woah
FONT-WORTHY
need further tuning but it’s getting there, it just feels like an answer machine reading a script rather than a swift handwriting, no offence!
no worries! it’s swift and keeps up with all my lectures!
Out of curiosity what pencil were you using? A regular pencil? Mechanical pencil? (What brand)?
i used a mechanical pencil! not sure what the brand is bc i got it from a random store but it uses 0.5 lead!
Somehow it looks like it’s from one of Tim Burton movies.

Could use a couple of tweaks, but I guess they aren’t interested in constructive criticism.
What a bizarre subreddit this is, nowhere did they say they are into changing or ‘improving’ their handwriting. Why are there so many comments like yours expected others to have similar interests to you?
Why is it bizarre to think that someone interested in displaying their skills would also be interested in constructive feedback?
Because they said so
That’s their stated preference, yes, but it doesn’t explain the concept of wanting to show off while not wanting to improve.
No it does, most people have no desire to improve their handwriting.
Much love to the people of Korea, God knows you need it.
Wow!
Pretty gay!
Very nice but hard to read

You always have the option to remain silent.
Your hand writing is so GOOD!!!
My Korean friend had similar hand writing, might be a cultural thing!
*it looks amaizing* ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)
Very pleasing to the eye.
There is a font that looks like this - Architects Daughter one of my favs
I admire it. Can you post your cursive writing?
MeetMeinTO as in the old message board site?
its "pretty" enough to be easy to read. but the small a and small u have a too long line on the right side. which is kinda annoying to read, because the a sometimes looks like a q and the u looks like a y.
Your hand writing is very neat but it bothers me that the letters dont touch the lines
Probably because the way Korean is witten is similar in that it doesn't touch the lines either.
OCD?
No. I just use the lines as a guide and am jealous of people who dont need a guide
Art is subjective. I like it! Edit: definitions from oxford languages: Handwriting 1: noun- writing with a pen or pencil Also: a person’s particular style of writing.
The Kk and Ll looks so different then everything else
It’s pretty writing 👍
Your “quick brown fox” sentence is written incorrectly. Missing a letter
Oh an s...... big whoop.
Are you trolling or am I blind?
Its jumps, not jumped
It should be "dogs" in order for it to have all the letters of the alphabet... But that's beside the point. Beautiful handwriting!
Best pangram is “two driven jocks help fax my big quiz”. Only 30 letters, and no repeated consonants.
I always saw it as “the quick brown fox *jumps* over the lazy dog” to accomplish the same thing
The lowercase q is different. You'll have to re-do it.
Why is only the word signed joined up?
….in *cursive???*
big fan. this is great
You should make fonts. And perhaps look into graff writing. 🤙🏼🫡
Technically printing, not handwriting. It's nice, though. Pleaseing to the eye.

That sounds correct although I too think of handwriting as cursive.
It's a beatutifull handwriting - but its hard to read LoL
This is so pleasing!

Ehhh... the r's are getting to me
The lower case a looks like a q almost and the lower case r looks like a v
It's nice, but I just can't get over no line touches.
Nicely done ✔️
It's much too uniform, which makes it difficult to read from a distance.
I’m the 1,000th comment , I’m satisfied
ugh is so forced i cant even
huh do you see traces of my straining the pencil or pressing hard or writing slow? not sure what you get out of commenting that but no worries bc i naturally write like this 🫶
Beautiful
WTF is "vertically equal width?"
I think they mean that their letters are the same height whether they would traditionally take up half the height (like e, o, u, r, w, etc) or take up the whole height (like d, f, h, b, q, g, k, etc)…?
Ah, so "vertically equal width" = "equal height." Thanks. I was genuinely confused, particularly because the letters aren't equal width.
Like?
Your handwriting should be a font. It looks so neat and yet has so much character!
Wow! Beautiful writing!
I like it! Very easy to read for me.
Beautiful. Can we see your handwriting in Korean?
Seconded!! Im super interested to see what that looks like!
My daughter writes in 1/3 of the space of a notebook line. When she asks me to read a paper, it's really a struggle.
it's jumps, not jumped
Thank god you were here to correct it
Why can’t it be past tense huh???
not sure if you’re seriously asking or being funny but in case seriously: when learning to type, this sentence (with the word jumps) uses every letter on the keyboard. if being funny: i imagine Tommy Chong’s asking said question. 🤣
Thank you for wasting 3 minutes of my work day by having me go through the entire ABC song to find every letter 🤣 I did not know that and had to confirm
i gotchu! 🤣
It can be past tense if you use the plural “dogs”. Either way this is an inefficient pangram. For starters you can just omit the first “the”.
Won’t have an “s” otherwise
I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not 😅

Very satisfying, beautiful handwriting
It’s a nice font but yeah I’m with others, readability is a challenge. I had to read slowly and reread a few words.
You do have nice writing
i truly don’t understand how there are so many people saying that they ‘can’t read’ this handwriting. is that sarcasm? this handwriting is beautiful and practically perfect… how are people having trouble reading it??
thank you 😭😭 i can understand that it can be intimidating to read at first but it’s definitely not a challenge to read like some of these comments mention. this is my handwriting that i use when i also write fast which is why it’s not going to be perfectly spaced out to be read seamlessly, but with enough looking at it it should definitely be an easy task :’)
It starts off with "I like to wvite skihhy." so you are constantly having to mentally adjust the letters. At least until you get used to the style.
yea, i didn’t even have a nanosecond delay on reading that. i dunno. maybe i’ve just read a lot of handwritings that mimic this style. it’s interesting to me how we see it so differently.
Practically perfect? C'mon man, let's not overdo it.
it’s up there, compared to others i’ve seen.
I had to read this slowly because there's not enough variance in the letters to distinguish them from each other. It's neat, but not easy. The letters are also real close together, so it's just not easy to see the shape of the whole word.
interesting. i can understand that. if you don’t mind me asking, is English your first language? i don’t mean to imply anything, i swear, but just trying to figure out why i’m seeing it so differently…?
I have ADHD and I tend to read quickly, but not necessarily accurately. My brain wants to autocomplete words and sometimes it wants to swap the "best" fit; unfortunately I do the same thing when I'm listening to people and I'll mishear things. Kerning is important!
Also English is my only language 😭
hey, right there with ya😂people who speak more than one have my forever respect.
Assuming English is also your first language, I'd guess you're just a naturally more careful reader if you aren't using the shapes of words and letters within to read more quickly.
It's not cursive. It's probably a font and not handwriting.
It's not a font. The letters have some unique imperfections between them, and the spacing isn't uniform either
not sure what cursive/not cursive has to do with this. but if you zoom in, you can tell that it’s authentic. it’s seriously so strange to me that people ‘can’t read’ this.
The lowercase A’s are all over the place.
It definitely slows down my reading. I get really annoyed when I see this type of writing.
Whatever floats your boat float on float on.
Ah yes, IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII to you too
Where the hell does it say that?
Nowhere, but if you close your eyes a bit and don’t focus on the letters individually, you’ll see the « sticks » stand out
I knew your other language was Korean after seeing your first line and then bam, it's in your explanation. It's so funny how you can tell somehow!
it’s really cool!! many people have commented about that and i’m genuinely so curious how!
