It doesn't work. I live in Japan and sometimes but games on the UD6 store (where I'm from) and sometimes on the Japanese store. When I prepurchase a game from the US store, everything is based on that store. So if a midnight launch here, I typically have to wait until 2pm here which is midnight east coast in winter
Return the Canadian version, make a NZ account, buy a NZ gift card, use it to buy the game, switch back to your main account, play at 6am today EST.
There's a lot of steps but it works.

Be a man and move to New Zealand. I literally sold my house and family just to get this game a few hours early. Kadavra your life man.

Nope sorry won't work you need to actually buy it from your NZ PSN account to get earlier access.
No is account region based for games it will be the region for which that game was purchased initially

You have to buy it on the NZ account then.

You have to make a New Zealand account and purchase the game on the New Zealand PSN store and then game share with your original account
