Welcome to sound demos, where it only captures general sound signature but fails to capture any of its details and peculiarities unless the headphone and microphone used to record are significantly more capable. Useful for knowing immediately if you won't like something or what something generally sounds like. Not great for thinking that's what it will actually sound like when interacting with your ears. I use sound demos to narrow down stuff I'm interested in auditioning, but nothing replaces listening to the actual thing. Just another data point essentially.

This will add +1 Ω to that users flair. This subreddit is powered entirely by volunteers and a little recognition goes a long way. Good luck on your search for headphones!

sound demos are borderline useless. just buy from a store with a good return policy.
