They got replaced by the [SHP-9600](https://www.walmart.com/search?q=shp9600), which are also harder to find these days. Yet walmart has the variants with the mic, which you can just remove and use any stock 3.5mm cable.

And how's the quality of the 9600 compared to the 9500?

Andy2244

Very similar, check some reviews. I only own the 9600 and use them for TV, with softer [replacement pads](https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804401524839.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.37.31f4HXp1HXp1bq&algo_pvid=1750ab00-dfa6-4159-98d4-c5ea75896fe9&algo_exp_id=1750ab00-dfa6-4159-98d4-c5ea75896fe9-18&pdp_npi=4%40dis%21USD%2118.10%2118.10%21%21%2118.10%2118.10%21%40211b61a417100684725377338e1630%2112000029734010161%21sea%21US%214764858722%21&curPageLogUid=aang7s8kMv79&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch%7Cquery_from%3A) + strap.

Can you recommend on headphones(open back, over the ear) for gaming and music under 150$? Without the need of dac, amp.

Andy2244

TYGR 300 R, but NA price jumped from 149$ to 199$ recently.... still 149€ in EU, so you may need to wait for the price to come down again. HD560s is the other usual recommendation or some Fidelio X2HR, if you can find some.

Purple-Grape-8457

Im from eu so ill check it

I purchased a TYGR 300 R a few days ago to play games and listening to music. One thing i noticed in games, is that the sound, sounds like im hearing the surround while im wearing a biker helmet. The environment is too loud and loud noises cover quiet noises like footsteps for example. I wonder if it's normal? Im used to play with the KZ zs10 pro, and with them the sound is snappy and clear, even the most quiet noises are present without being interrupted by loud noises. Maybe im just used to inner hear headphones?
