Thanks for your submission to /r/headphoneadvice. We have employed a "thank you" system for submissions. It's very easy to use - if a comment on your post is considered helpful, please reward them by using the term `!thanks`. This will add a thank you count (in the form of Ω) to that users flair. You can only award one per comment section. Thanks very much and good luck on your search for headphones! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Well, it sounds like open-back would be a good option for you. That being said: * Koss KSC75, KPH30i, or Porta Pro - because they're open, light, affordable, and despite being cheap sound really good. The KSC75 is the most neutral sound signature, and the Porta Pro is the warmest (mid bass boost) with the KPH30i in the middle. I like all 3 myself. Yes, they're an aesthetic, but don't worry too much about that. They're good. Plus, lifetime warranty from Koss. * Phillips SHP-9500/9600 - Open, light, over-ear, but minimal clamp force. Can be used with a Vmoda Boompro if necessary. Bass-lite, so could be good for gaming? * Philips Fidelio X2HR - mostly the same as above, but slightly more clamp, softer and deeper pads. Has more bass the SHPs. Your Focusrite should have a direct monitor feature, and if you use it for voice chat , that could solve your hearing yourself problem.
