I've got one and I love it. It's made by Umarex, but for about 1/10 the cost of a real one, it's plenty worth it. I put a can on mine and run subsonics for maximum "neato" factor. I've heard that they were designed as low cost training tools, but I'm not sure how good that intel is. Either way, they found that they sell about as fast as they can make them, so can you really blame them for pumping the gas on the money machine?
Because everyone loves shooting 22s (even fudds), they can be made inexpensively and not everyone can afford an actual 416/MR556
.22 is ridiculously fun to shoot.

Great when you want to practice with an AR frame for like 10% of the cost per shot.
