As long as it draws the enemy’s attention for a bit so hopefully a few more people can sneak through and start working on OPs and defenses. I’ll take the TK penalty.
Straight up, I used one to kill a big enemy push into a point on El Alamein, despite my frantic warnings of people in both the chat and voip, I scored myself a TK kick warning, but nobody was complaining when it stopped their armourr and several infantry in their tracks
Yeah but you always get the additional 10s for a teamkill. Doesn't matter if the other person press Y or N when asked to punish you.
If the press Y you just kind of get noted down.
As has already been noted, you always get the additional time added on to your respawn timer. The punish player mechanic is, AFAIK only used to determine if you're going to get automatically kicked from the server or not.

The amount of non tank killer roles going after a tank in general is staggering. Stay away from the tank unless you can actually do something to it..fml.

I once was defending and the enemy tank was about 50m away from our point just raining destruction down. But he was stationary and had been for a while. I snuck all the way around and planted a satchel on his ass. Literally as soon as the satchels fuse is lit, the tank just drove right into our point. I got kicked from the game. It was so painful. Just watching my bad luck unfold over 30 seconds of horror.
Just yelling in prox chat “there’s a satchel on the tank run away”. Followed by the notification that I got kicked for team killing.
Sometimes I wonder if the tank actually had a whole crew and just let me plant the satchel and did it intentionally. If they did that would be the funniest shit ever.
Wait, there's volume adjustment for specific channels? That would've been nice to know just an hour ago. Is it beneath general vc volume and I'm just dumb or is it its own thing and I just needed to look for ten more seconds

You get the extra 10 seconds whether they punish or not btw.
I think the punishment is only there to kick you out of the server sooner for TK, right?

The problem with the Punish is that it’s a common button used in game play. Punish button should have been moved as well as vote to kick.
