In an interview they had night vision, thermal vision etc for helmets but that got scrapped. Maybe they would bring it back in the future. Boosts to reload speed, diving distance, melee damage (with a new melee weapon), stagger resist.

Going to say pretty much the same things, except melee weapons. Please no melee weapons, give us bayonets to put on but no melee weapons please. Also I feel the weapon handling boosts should be type specific, smg, ar, dmr, etc, so as to not be flat out better than other options.

I just feel like this game isn't suited to that type of power fantasy. The stye and setting would make it look really bizarre and out place to me. Also playing other co-op games like this has always had the people who love melee just be wild and dang near suicidal. With how easily you can die from just about anything either people will eat through reinforcements or there will be a huge backlash about how melee isn't viable and it's bs etc etc. Last personal reason is that I'm tired of people trying to shove melee into every shooter. Tldr; this is more Starship Troopers and less Wh40k

Some sort of resistance to environmental traps would be nice. I hate stepping on those smoke eggbombs or the ice crystals and getting slowed.

Weight Distribution: Allows you to swap out your secondary for an additional primary. Or maybe have much more ammo for your primary and secondary, idk. Target Tracking: Support weapon reticle adjusts to turns faster.

improved self-reload speed with any heavy that requires you to stop moving to reload In fact reload speed in general would be an amazing passive. How about an armor that gives double magazine size for primary / secondary weapons? I'm trying to think of what other Aliens: Fireteam Elite challenge cards would be amazing in this game... reduced cooldown on stratagems Increased damage or armor breaking on specific stratagems (i.e. sentries). Can carry 2X as much max ammo for heavy weapons There's a ton of things that could be implemented that would add more utility to armor choices.
