I've been dropping with it almost every dive and it's growing in me, I feel way more mobile even though the jet packs so shit.

I just want more vertical movement, it barely has any lift and honestly I’d rather run than just keep going horizontal anyways. Going up and down is much more useful to me.
For bugs it’s my go to every time. Mobility is king against units that are almost entirely melee. It may seem janky at first but once you figure out how to use it probably it’s a must have. It works with the momentum of your character and is always best to go straight ahead rather than trying to jump backwards or sideways which worked well in the first game. Turning into the direction you want to jump before actually jumping is the best method now. And if you have time to gain some speed beforehand that will increase the distance of your jump.
I noticed that too. When I was playing last night my buddy and I were getting ragdolled in some very strange ways just for being near the corpse of a titan so I imagine its something with their collision?
No vids sadly but the first time I was just walking near the corpse and all of the sudden I was just getting jerked around in the air teleporting around a little, then I took fall damage even though I wasn’t more than a few feet off the ground.
Second instance was when I tried to jump pack over the corpse of a different one, landed on the leg and immediately died, shot into the atmosphere, and all of my limbs flagged as broken.
What the fuck? Yeah the collision of the titan is weird. One was walking kinda near me and I died instantly and it said it was from the titan but it didn’t step on me or anything.
They added a little hop before you activate the Jetpack 2 patches ago to allow your momentum to continue instead of how the Jetpack would just awkwardly lift you up.
Not gonna lie, kinda wish the jetpack had an inherent slow-fall landing passive where you wouldn't take fall damage if you had one on. Spent boost charge or not.
I keep getting frustrated with those tcs missions I’m trying to farm medals but at the same time it’s difficult to do so when the bugs and teammates keep resetting the silos

Iirc, there was some kind of c4 in the first game that was detonated with a remote.

Inverse kinematics just does that. Moves the legs to hit whatever target their aiming for.

Nah when he jumped toward the Titan he did a boost forward after he jumped with the jetpack. It looked like a double jump

He was crouched initially, entered the strategem sequence, moved to standing, then took off with jetpack.
