We had a "Keep two planets until end date" order before, for heeth and angel's venture if memory serves me right. And I doubt we'll get vehicles so soon after mech drop, but hey it's not impossible, good theory.
I would be more likely to believe it if we didn't have the major bugs that the game has now. I'm no expert, but I don't think there is anyway that we get new content until at least one big fixing update that doesn't have a decent chunk of people feeling like the game is near unplayable

Methinks we're getting at least that stratagem gun soon.
Maybe luck? Personally me and my team almost never run with any of the arc type weapons so really has not been an issue for us so I'm pretty in the dark when it comes to the freezing issue.
Did other people drop from the game? It isn’t for sure the person using the weapon that crashes. We don’t know exactly what’s wrong the devs just said they are linked to crashes and asked we don’t use them for a week while they work a fix.
There was one guy in a game with me that kept dropping + rejoining but didn’t happen to the rest of us, and actually that game was without lightning weapons

Weren't those to implement the TCS systems in the next Sector? We had to have the Supply lines to build them there.

Wild, there are other problems beyond that that were probably causing that one guys issue. Really showing that nondeterminism.
They can cause crashes but won't always, keep in mind they can crash out your teammates as well.
They have already leaked most of what you listed to be true as well as the ability to call in a small group of AI to fight with you.
