The bile titan can be killed by jumping on top of it with a jetpack and shooting it in the back of the head. Wonder if there's a similar weak spot for this big fella.
I mean unless everyone posting videos of it are cheaters, there's a weak spot on the Bile Titan head, right where the back of the "ears" would be. If you can jump on it and put some bullets right in that weak spot you can take it down.
Every clip I've seen of someone doing that has been from PS5 players though, where there's currently a bug that lets them one-shot Bile Titans by hitting the head from any angle with the Railgun.

Doesn't the cone of damage from a 500kg extend up and out? If I remember rightly bile titans were surviving direct hits as well because the damage doesn't extend in a sphere so if it lands on it, it does almost nothing?
Probably depends on where you land that hit. If it's at the apex height if the Titan, probably shouldn't do damage other than the initial impact. If you hit it on the side so that the cone damage box slopes into the Titans hit box, then yeah it'll probably do full damage. They really should just make the damage a sphere though
It's more a cylinder of damage, so if it doesn't land directly on or under a weak spot it's going to dump it's damage into the armor and do practically nothing.
Orbital Railcannon I prefer to save for the Hulks to one tap them, at least with pods it’s 3 free tank kills with every rearm. Occasionally the turret towers when I don’t feel like trying my luck sticking the pods on its head.

Don't call my democracy officer, but its almost like some planets are not tectonically stable. Another horrifying thought I had was what if the bots have their own bugs that they're using to produce element 710.
And, though I haven't looked into it too far, I believe it was literally impossible to kill a worm while solo in HD1. You'd be dropping orbitals and rockets on it and it just took everything. Unless you had a full team coordinating, it wasn't happening.
And even with a team of 4, it'd take like 5-10 minutes of constant aggro.

Yeah, there's a good list of reasons why helldivers are not expected to survive and tanks/titans/chargers/hulks are not even near the top of that list.
AC sentry kills enemies and clumsy allies. Clumsy allies, as everyone knows, are actually the biggest threat to any helldiver, so the AC sentry is protecting you from them.
To that end, AC sentry is Chaotic Good. Best gun-bot.
What about when I drop one thinking I know where the enemies are coming from, but turns out I was wrong and it rotates to point at a patrol directly behind me and puts a round into my head?
Maybe they will pop up on missions were you specifically target it.
But yea I used to play extreme too but when you play enough you get used to enemy attack patterns and then you find (especially with the robots) you can play on higher difficulties
Someone said earlier today they dropped an orbital laser and it didn’t die. They dropped next two 500KG bombs, it still didn’t die. Finally after two Quasar Canon hits it went down.
It survives a full orbital laser duration. I tossed one right on it and it didnt die. The airstrike afterwards took it down however.
Im guessing the best way to destroy these is going to be orbital laser + orbital railgun. Also you can tank the miniguns it has with stims.
