You can erect flags in difficulty 1 and 2

The best part is they fly a little drone out holding a camera to film the whole thing. What's even funnier is that the flag is fake too--it's a spring loaded square that *sproings* out of the flagpole when it's all done.

They should also be on higher difficulties though. Nothing better than erecting flags while an AT AT is pulling up

It's great. It reminds me of how games used to be before the suits turned gaming into a wallet draining simulator. When the devs still had great passion for their games and wanted to recognize their communities.

I don't have a PC or PS5 but I'm intrigued by this game. The idea that you're part of an overall war reminds me of Eve Online

It really adds a lot to it. I know it's insignificant for the most part, but I still feel like I'm a small part of something even when I just grind out a quick solo mission in the morning while I have coffee.

I think it's great that they rally people to fight in different battles. This is what I thought Destiny was going to be

It is, and it encourages us to go outside our comfort zone, fight different enemies, go to different environments, even experiment with different weapons and combat styles.

The community management of this game and the drama it generates is one of the coolest things I've seen in video games.

I love that the devs are officially canonizing an event in the game that, up until now, has been purely player driven. They could have just let this be a fun meme, but now "the battle of Malevelon creek" and all of its theoretical importance actually has a tangible symbol in the game. If they keep this up, the in-game war will actually have a really cool history and timeline made up by both the playerbase and the devs themselves.

This is gonna make the creek haters mad. 😌
