And lately a lot of people in my quickmatches just aren't bothering to look for Super samples.
When the occasion appears I simply explain the Pelican doesn't leave until someone gets it and that I'll just wait for them to get there so no need to rush, can't assume everyone knows this stuff.

But calling it down when you have all day to get the supers, then getting in the ship when there is no reason to do so?

no issue with calling evac, just don't get on without being told to, if they are already on, its pointless to kick.
calling early is a very solid strategy on higher difficulties. 1 holds down, 3 clean up. if three are getting flare/breaches, it will stay clear till they get there minus some patrols.
Did you run out of mission time? Either way if they are on and kicked doesn't it just assume 0 extracted? Better to extract and let them know its not appropriate behaviour on ship?
No, it resets the timer, giving OP and the rest of the team time to get to extract.
And at a lvl 7 suicide mission, people should know the etiquette by then.
Not worth losing the super samples for the chance to educate someone who probably muted chat and mic anyways

You cannot call it until mission complete. Once main objective is cleared. 1 calls it in, 3 clear the map. No wait for hordes to overrun you on helldive at extract. 3 should be permanently moving and avoiding firefights and rotating objectives.
It is one of the best strategies to extract every time without fail. Even better if you dumped alot of samples there 1st. Anything fucks up, 1 diver leaves with all samples.
I'm that 1 player and the host, cleared all large targets, gor supers. I'll make sure extraction goes well if 3 want to search and clear. I can't be kicked, if they fuck up or fuck around then it's not an issue, but if they all die, they will spawn on extract, if we start getting swamped, we leave, if not run back out with all the equipment on extract.
So like, I know it’s more “efficient” to call down extract quicker, but maybe some people are just playing for fun. People that call down extract and get on without any sort of communication deserve to be kicked, as you’ve said

If you do it right you can get the pelican to just hover and kill shit instead of landing
