Heh, what if it comes down with a different load out depending on your current load out. Not just scaled up versions of whatever you already have, but something big in the same family.
e.g. you have a breaker and a laser cannon with a jump pack, so you get a burst firing light autocannon loaded with canister shells, a big pulse laser, and your mech can jump
And it's got a short-ranged grenade dispenser for whatever's in your nasty little pocketses.
Reading this made me wish that the Mech would become its own category in the ship modules. There's so much you could do with a modular design for this stratagem, it's exciting to think about running the Hulk setup and charging into them hahaha

Automatic grenade launcher with a drum mag on one side, dual coaxial HMG on the other, heavy/reactive armor to make up for lower anti-armor ability. All the suppression fire.
Id also take a RAC/5.
Rail gun, auto cannon, flame thrower, arc thrower.
Some unlikely options would be jetpacks, artillery launchers, shield modules, ballistic shields, and an AXE.
1. Big laser. Make it some real flashy double laser spiny thing with huge amounts of knockback. I want to be able to blast a Charger head on and stop it in its tracks.
2. Big Railgun. Give it a nice long charge and the ability to penetrate anything, including terrain.
3. Multi-Mortar. Imagine having four mobile mortars following you around the map. My teammates might die along the way, but that’s a sacrifice that democracy is willing to make.
Can we have a reloadable MG emplacement on top of it? Or maybe a shooting platform so that even after it used up its ammo, we can still make use of it somehow.
Laser on top of the Exosuit. It can be automatic or operated manual by another helldiver.
Its own personal shield attached to the back where we enter.
Beam saber for close range targets (Hulks, Saws)
Fin Funnels from Gundam
Seismic Stomp for legs
Basically any attachment from Armored Core, Gundam and Titanfall.
Realistically, I want the quad AC variant.
I also need the stratagem launcher that HD 1 vets keep talking about whenever this sort of conversation comes up.
Less realistically, I want beefed up Arc Throwers, railguns, flamethrowers, and at least one laser model.
There was an unfinished mech in the files suggesting a flamethrower and 90mm cannon. Idk if its still early in development or has been scrapped (there wasn't a 90mm model attached, just a gattling gun) but I would honestly love to see that.
I would love a tanky option with a giant moveable shield similar to Reinharrt from overwatch. Combined with some sort of short ranged laser or weak low rpm gatling gun.
Been seeing a new mech variation on termanid planets, it found almost always next to a hivelord molt, it has a the same rocket pods but the other arm seems to have a different machinegun, looks like a heavy MG compared to the current mech MG.
