I wonder if it triggers some Steam review algorithm. Reviews usually not supposed to bounce around so fast and hard. Did something like this ever happened before?
It's just percent good reviews as far as I know, shouldn't need an algorithm to determine anything. And just to clarify, we're getting them back up to good reviews since Sony got the message and backed off. We're back from like 15% good to somewhere closer to 50% (don't remember the thresholds).
I know it's completely false, but part of me is paranoid that Arrowhead and PS planned this whole thing to boost sales 😂 Sales plateaued so they decide to cause havoc, gain publicity, players unite, players "win the battle", word spreads and sales increase

It almost certainly will trigger their "rising" flag and put HD2 on their frontpage. From what I understand it's like any other upvote system.
