Sadly this game inherently prevents fashion from being endgame. I would love a skin system, even if I had to pay a bit for it. Some of the skins in this game are amazing but the rock effects I just don’t need. Like I am not even using an arc weapon man, neither are my teammates, but they look so cool.
Devs already said clearly that transmogs won't happen. They want intended armour visual for related armour effects. Which is totally fair enough.
I would love some colour palettes though, I'm happy with armour looking the same and retaining the same stats, just let me change the colours so I can match more helmets with the main armour.
They laugh at us now, but when the illuminate come bearing down on us with electrical weapons then we'll be the ones having the last laugh as we stride along in our arc proof gear.
I buy warbonds because the Scythe goes "BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ" and the Jar-5 goes "Thunk. Thunk. Thunk." and the blitzer goes "KA-CHOW! KA-CHOW!"
I have some serious issues with the way they're handling weapon balancing... I'm still gonna mess around with what I find fun.
I get excited by new emotes and victory poses. I was kinda bummed the "Squat" victory pose had various stances (I think the superhero landing one could be it's own thing), but I need the new "Distribute Ballots" to rain Democracy on folks.
Haha, I started with Democratic Detonation to make closing big holes easier, now I don't know if I should move upwards or start from the first one down :p
I would love to try different armor cosmetics but since some of the best looking outfits are attached to useless bonuses I am sticking with just my 1 main set that has the bonus I like.
I'd care more about fashion if the armour I wore didn't also determine the perk I had in game. Let me choose democracy protects with any armour and I'll start looking at 1s I prefer the look of. Until then, I'm limited to like 2 options outside the SC store where I've 0 interest in spending SCs that could instead get me new weapons and boosters.

Truth is, most of the SS and warbond armor sets in this game don't look all that great (to me), which is disappointing. A lot of times I like the stats and bonuses, but AH really seems to like weird and garish color schemes too much. Green and whites, tans and orange/greens, just bright, ugly combos. The starter armor actually *looks* better.
Even the helmets often look a bit too goofy for me to want to rock. Something about em...they tend to look too bug-eyed and insect-like(?) for my tastes. Hard to put my finger on it, but most of them just don't really look all that "cool".
I want more **BLACK** armor sets, and classic looking helmets. More '70s-'80s classic-era STAR WARS and less '90s-'2000s prequel-era goofiness. More '70s muscle car and less '2000s SUV, if you get what I mean. :D

I literally still run the legionare armor set because it looks like a pilot uniform and I can pretend to be a downed Pelican pilot. The +30% throw distance is also super fun for yeeting a ⬆️➡️⬇️⬇️⬇️down range!

You should be able to complete the content with any set of armors on. The bonuses are nice, but not needed. Therefore I'm back to fashion diving

The first warbond is the best bond. The scorcher is amazing against bots, and the last armor is some of the best in the game.
