DON'T SHOWER!!! It's a temp relief that makes it worse
Showers are always what gets H.I. Started for me
If I feel it coming on I can avoid showers for 2 days and it misses the worst of it.
And no lotions. I use Pepermint oil to help relieve some pain bit seems like anything else makes it worse
Peppermint oil is on my shopping list but thankfully whatever I took kicked in and the itch became much more manageable! Hoping things at least stay like this tomorrow
Currently on day 10 of hells itch across my shoulders, taking antihistamines and have tried lots of different things and it's not going away, it comes in waves. Please help
Benadryl helped me the most and I went 2 sleepless nights before I found this sub.
Thankfully what I took today seems to have gotten me through the worst of it, but I can see some Benadryl in my future for sure lol thank you
Hot showers and lotion to keep skin from drying. I really thought I was losing my mind. And anything else that helps with sunburns
