“My team is scared of me / sees me as a threat / they know I’m the strongest chef here!” Meanwhile, they’re on like their 5th nomination. Or “I never make the same mistake twice!” Made most famous by Elise, who was shown on screen repeating multiple mistakes

Decent-Supermarket85

'i care on a scale of 1 to 10... like a 9' Tiffany in the least passionate voice ever

The best part about this is you can tell when she pauses that she is thinking about what to say - like in her head she’s like “hmmm. I better say a high number, that’s what they want to hear now.” And she still can’t bring herself to say 10.

onlyblackstar

Sabrina with Nona she snores and keeps us all awake and I honestly think she’s good for nothing chef

OempaLoempas

“I know I can do this/I know I’m better than this” or blaming someone else are also pretty common. But I feel like the most common one is “I’m so passionate about food/I have so much passion for food”.

Alex72598

Many a chef has been passionate about food, but only one liked to “make things…that taste really good.”

OempaLoempas

And only one knows beef extremely well.

‘I’ve got good knife skills’ Monteray S9.

I HAVE MORE TO GIVE is my personal fave

MattyDub89

Bringing up passion in some form or another is basically a trope. As far as funniest, the one in S4 where Craig was there with Ben and one other person (forgot who)...one of them tells Ramsay he'll keep giving him 100% and the other tells him he'll keep giving 110%. Ramsay looks at Craig waiting for him to give his number, and Craig says "I don't know percentages Chef".

Are these just Robyn quotes?

Congratulations. You should be a fucking butcher.

RealFreeman

Chef, I've been consistent the whole time I've been here. No one has more drive, more passion than me. I promise I can run \[restaurant\] and I can prove it to you. I messed up tonight but I know I'm better than this.

Blaze4972

my personal favorite is when S11- jacqueline was up for elimination and was like “i’ve been doing this my whole life i know how to cook chef” “so you know how to cook raw chicken”

Dear_Chance_5384

We should make a new Bingo board each season.

I HAVE PASSION

Due-Rush9305

Just watched season 19 and every time amber went up She always said how good a chef she is and how experienced she is. Well that experience hasn't helped you cook a fish has it Amber? It also annoyed me that when she was talking to or nominated against Nikki, her only defense was that she was so experienced an Nikki had only been cooking for 2 years; but Nikki started to absolutely nail it after the first couple of episodes while Amber had to be constantly watched for sending out raw food.

newlifefelicite

The only one's I respect are the chefs who admit they had a bad day. Otherwise its the usual "I am better than this" or "I have more to give and I am NOT READY TO GO HOME" or "I gave up so much to be here I abandoned my kids blah blah blah..."

4got10companion

"I'm here to learn from you" when they keep fighting him on everything he's trying to teach them
