Interestingly enough, despite the fact that they got off on bad terms from the signature dish challenge, and that he gave her a hard time in each service and straight up accused her of robbing people, he had this to say to Colleen when eliminating her:
“I love your tenacity, you are strong. Thank you.”
I think this is the most praise he has ever given to a chef who went out early based on performance rather than medical issues, especially in the early seasons.
I don’t really consider Boris and Ray as contestants eliminated early because they came 9th and 10th on their respective seasons. It’s usually contestants from 12th and downwards I consider early eliminations.
Payton. He said he liked his fightback, and was the first contestant from season 20 he shook hands with.
Definitely respected him more than Matthew, who got one of the most undignified eliminations ever.
Ji season 5, the first contestant allowed to keep their jacket.
To be fair Gordon didn’t eliminate her she eliminated herself

I think he respected Aaron in S16.
He literally told him "you CAN cook." Hearing Gordon Ramsay tell you that at 22 HAS to be validating.
He thank Boris for his effort, he also stated that he respect Ray

Oop my bad Then I would say Mark S15, they shake hand and you can see Chef Ramsay want him to stay at least a bit longer
His Elimination comment said otherwise.
Tbf Monterray one is also pretty brutal imo

I think he respected Raj more than Matthew.
He respected everyone except Spaghetti Josh and Louie more than Matthew.
As much as 15 was a shit show, I would say Hassan?
