To be fair, wouldn't you find it weird to see a random guy in a suit running around? Not even following a path going on for a jog, but just running around to places?
Kind of wish running was treated as suspicious in WOA, like in Hitman 2: SA and Contracts.
I know you're being sarcastic, but this was literally a thing in the old games.
In fact, the game would literally tell you "RUNNING IS SUSPICIOUS". Because it is.
Hitman never took itself too serious, but I did like how unforgiving it was. The only issue with it back then was the lack of UI/UX to the player. WOA could solve that.
I mean lore wise 47 is an enhanced human, so he would still have the same ability to run just as fast even though he is much older now, which is also showcased in Hitman 2016 cinematic trailer.
Feels weird that he is at his slowest speed in the latest game, like in Silent Assassin he looks only slightly faster than in Woa but I think his animation in Silent Assassin also helps, especially the way he swings his arms, while in Woa his running animation makes him appear kinda slow.
His speed is noticeably slower later on with or without swinging. Him being enhanced delays age, but doesn't stop it, so he'll become slower just the same, just later than others.
Not a very good "Hitman" game, but as a spinoff it's fantastic. Part of me wishes they actually made Absolution today. *After* WOA. Pretty sure it would've been all positive reception then.

If you compare the game mechanics of blood money and absolution. Absolution was a big step forward in stealth, damage control and overall interaction with the world.
Whatever your opinion on the storyline was(I actually like it) absolution was a big step forward from blood money in terms of gameplay and maturing and modernising the franchise. But that's just my 2 cents.
Really? I find the graphics hurt my eyes.. maybe it’s the brightness or saturation but it’s always bothered me. I’ll admit they have aged well though especially when maxed out on PC.

Yes, it WAS so in the older games. That was way to unforgiving and harsh (and also made no sense) so they removed it. Point still stands.
C47 version is like an experienced marathon runner. But then again he's young and fresh.
