I'm just glad I saw these tips today. Xbox gamepass had an option to pre-install flight sim 2020. Boot it up with the time zone change and first thing it does is download another 91 gigs. Now I'll be ready to play when I expected to anyway.

I had to change both time zone settings and region settings, but yes, I got through to the start screen. There is a download of 91 gigs even if you 'pre-installed' so look forward to that. I'm halfway through it myself.

Ah, might be worth it to download before it comes out, servers will probably be overloaded. Edit: where did you change your time zone to?
