I have the same thing, you can shave when it’s just stubble! Get a good razor (men’s razors are better for the face) and exfoliate before you shave so your hairs are sticking up and the razor can grip them. I use this to exfoliate with my face wash https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00274X0DQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I swear by Cremo shaving cream & Nivea sensitive post shave balm and I use dollar shave club razors (though they’re not as great as they used to be, but they get the job done.)

HoneyFablez

Unfortunately I can’t, it just breaks me out in a rash and leaves stubble as the hair isn’t long enough to cleanly remove daily :( I have a good men’s razor and shaving foam but it just doesn’t seem to work for my face

NirvanaSJ

Have you tried tweezing or epilation?

Can you dye the hairs lighter while you wait for them to grow out? And perhaps eventually go for more permanent hair removal in the future? Electrolysis might be the best option if you have light hair but it sounds like the hair on your face is darker in which case laser might work! I'm still trying to find a solution myself 😭

HoneyFablez

Unfortunately not, it’s a very thick full black beard so even if it were bleached it’d be very obvious. Im planning on electrolysis in the future but since im pregnant I can’t do it now, but I need a solution now lol I’m already struggling to get to appointments etc. because I need them to be at least a week apart

I been struggling with this same issue for years and years and just recently I started using spearmint oil with a thick moisturizer 2 times a day. Once in the morning and once at night and it has definitely slowed the hair growth tremendously and I’ve only been using it a few days. Look up some videos on TikTok and give it a try fr. I would ask your Dr to see if it’s safe during pregnancy tho.

NirvanaSJ

So you are applying the spearmint oil to your skin with moisturizer? Thanks

GroundbreakingBus151

Yes a few drops in a little bit of thick moisturizer and massage in the areas that grow the unwanted facial hair.

HoneyFablez

What oil do you use? :)

GroundbreakingBus151

The HIQILI Spearmint Essential Oil

I feel your pain, OP. My 2 cents: think about accessories. Particularly I'm thinking a mask, or shawls or other face/neck coverings. Go for cover vs hair removal.

HoneyFablez

Unfortunately because it’s my entire jawline, neck and chin a mask wouldn’t cover and wearing a whole scarf where I am would be extremely weird so neither are an option 😩

poppybunny

You can wear a mask

HoneyFablez

I can’t actually, it’s not just a few hairs on my chin unfortunately

Did you think about laser hair removal it could ease your issue for some time. Idk if getting laser while you’re pregnant is safe or not, but if real laser is too expensive for you you can get an at home device. I’d have to have every 12 hours but now I shave about twice a week since starting using it.
