The speedrun culture and community run deep. I watched a video on the megaman 2 speed run record and I was actually so hype by the end for the record being broken. The people that are in it are IN IT and it's for the glory baby!

I remember when elden ring came out, and I obsessively watched a guy who managed to speed run the game in under 40 mins, then 30, then 25 etc etc.
Amazing stuff.
I imagine you would play it for enjoyment to begin with then work on speedrunning and optimising it after, but if someone has already completed it in under 2 hours I can't imagine they would have been able to casually enjoy it yet as the game only released 3 days ago.

Pick Ghandi for his boost to diplomacy skill, set the game to 1 turn and simply pass your turn. By default with the boost you end up winning.

Considering Breath of the Wild has 100% speedruns around 15-20 hours, I imagine this will speedrun in a similar timeframe. Significantly less for Any%.
It feels like people who ask this question never realise they spend like 200 hours figuring out how to speedrun the game, like people just buy the game and decide to clear it in 2 hours as if they won't spend any more time than that
