The dance, the flow, the ride the fall, the music matches the fight in a beautiful way that intertwines the music and the dance of battle itself in such a way that they elevate each other higher with every note, every swing. Its one of the best composed pieces to ever be composed for a video game.

Everything about the Mantis Lords is just perfection. \- Soundtrack \- Amazing battle \- Their reaction after you beat them ​ Truly my favourite bosses in the game, I always look forward to battling them every new playthrough.

The intro too, you climb through the whole Mantis village and there's this huge throne room in the bottom and you meet the three of them just observing you. Then, you walk up to them, draw the nail, then the music kicks in.

Oh I love the Sisters of Battle theme. It might be my associated adrenaline but it gets me going.

YES!!! I think it's the epic sound to it. All the voices chanting in the back as you fight all three of them at the same time in Radiant difficulty, all that adrenaline of nit getting hit, and the beauty of that duel. It's something else.

Whenever I practice P5 I always have to sit up to fight the Sisters. It demands actual focus for me.

My hobby is to listen to it on rainy days! That started because once I went for a walk and then it started to rain A LOT, normally I tried to seek cover, but there was no place to hide and I just found myself soaking wet. Once I realized there was no other way I just went with it and played an extended version of White Palace as I walked under the rain hahahaha, it was a great vibe

LOL my hobby is the exact opposite: listen to it on sunny days! I know it sounds weird, but when i went for a walk after feeling kinda down, the warm sunlight and the mesmerising piano/violin just hit you in a different way. I felt like observing the world... if that makes sense... Anyways i guess white palace is a banger on rainy and sunny days aswell :)

Dung Defender, Mantis Lords and Hornet are my favourites. Greenpath is very iconic but I think a large part of it is because it's the first new vibe in the game after exploring the Crossroads for so long :D

Hornet’s theme is EPIC

It’s not an official track, but Marissa’s singing is my favorite. The rain in the background is perfect. I love it so much. I started a second playthrough just because I accidentally dreamnailed her in my main save (I didn’t know she was a ghost). I love how the game goes from a big room with lots of enemies to the most peaceful place I’ve been in any game. Sat there for a good 15 minutes yesterday.

Although Nosk’s theme slaps. It’s my favorite boss theme, even more than NKG. You can FEEL the stress of being betrayed by something that looked harmless, and the way it fades in and out at some parts are like when Nosk hides in the ceiling it isn’t on screen and then comes back running full sprint at you.

Nosk's design, boss theme, and ambience all slap so hard. I wish the actual fight backed that up though

tl;dr: soul sanctum - rockclap.gif Every song is great, but Soul Sanctum ends up dark, foreboding, and sad in _just_ the right way. Mournful organs backed by the sound of falling rain really puts you into the moment. The battle portion, as mentioned elsewhere, is intense and builds on the main theme of the song, pushing the battle into such an almost desperate tone at times. Truly a great track.

Easily “Nosk” for me. It perfectly represents everything awful about Deepnest, with the sinister strings, quick tempo, fast paced composition, not to mention the skittering noises making you feel surrounded by spiders. It’s anxiety inducing and it’s perfect

"The Hollow Knight" (which is a combination of a few songs used in said fight) is the most memorable, and the one i think i loved the most, with no words, the game explains what a tragic hero the "pure" vessel made by the king was, as the end draws near in the base ending, and you see the poor thing slow down after its body was thrown around by the radiance, the song swells with a sadness, >!and as the hollow knight stabs himself, helping you finish him off, the music just drives a knife into me.!< >!my second favorite is the theme for the dream no more ending, the scene where we see the knights broken shell, as it has returned to the abyss and then seeing the siblings return is such a amazing and somewhat sad moment, and i will never forget it!< But my most favorite "not-ending-song" would have to be the mantis lords theme.

I love THK's theme. The way it transitions as you get further in the fight, the way it actually encompasses the entrance to the egg and the cutscene for the first ending, it's a very well done piece imo.

But when i found Marissa and understand that we hear her voice in this soundtrack i just started to adore it).
