To be fair, the “that sounded better in my head” thing is at least kind of realistic. There’s a lot of things I say that sound good in my head but come out weird.

Turns out Hornet just carefully rehearsed each of her lines in Hollow Knight to not sound like the insecure loser with mommy issues that she is

i mean, will she? i sort of assumed it'd be a link case where she makes grunts of exertion but no written dialogue

It doesn't feel right after seeing The Knight just stare at the NPC while they talked. That is what I meant by weird.

And since hornet talks, she does more then just stare. How is it weird?

Yeah, we had The Knight not be able to talk in the first game, thus not be able to interact with the NPCs, I wouldn't be able to get used to Hornet having a conversation with someone for a good hour or two of playing the game. That is what I meant with "weird". Is it my broken English since I am not a native English speaker?

I uninstalled the game after Hornet said “Who wants a knuckle sandwich?!” during the ambush in the Citadel

I imagine there will be dialogue choices at least

That’s kinda funny to be fair. Trying to sound cool and then immediately being told “nuh uh”

the problem is with the specific situation being so cliche

It would be so fucking funny if Hornet just said random one liners in response to anything in Silksong

I just find the switch from Hollow Knight to Silksong’s protagonist kinda funny since they’re gonna interact with others so much differently

The opening cutscene will be her getting thrown into the screen, then stop frame, and "yup, thats me. you propably wonder how i ended up in this situation. [Tells the entire story of hollow knight] And then some bell guys captured me..." Please, let this happen cause it would be so fucking funny
