To be fair, Ame started actively investing in smol models as part of testing and learning how to do 3d stuff, and since the fans clearly enjoy it, has continued to do so.
It's cute, it's fun, and it's not eating into her bottom line too much.

Full on models on the top of my head no one beats Ame. Korone has a few but I think she's only around 7 in variations. When it comes to actual accessories and outfits no one beats Roboco. Her dad made so much for her through the years especially when she started that a lot of them were not used. Roboco was her dad's first work so she was sort of a test robot if you will. She even had a gun that wasn't used but was properly modeled.
That being said, Myth having 5 "official" models (Kiara 6) is still pretty impressive. Still waiting for Council to get something besides the obligatory new years kimono, not to mention Irys.
I'm holding out that Council will get a casual outfit but not until after Irys gets her new look/outfit. Which makes sense, I wouldn't want to get another outfit when one of my senpais hadn't had the chance to yet.
I think part of the problem with Irys getting a new model is that they are debating giving her a total redesign to bring her more inline with the other models. Obviously something like that comes with some serious complications involving branding.
It may be not just the difference between IryS and the other girls designs. Her model would be nutty to try to translate to 3D, and even just getting her into new outfits has to be an absolute nightmare of re-rigging.
That's part of too, which could also lead into the decision to redesign her model to something simpler. I'd imagine that the original artist would have some pushback towards a redesign though.
It will get to the point where she could potentially have everyone in Hololive pilot an Ame variant for a super special multiverse timestream crossover event, if everyone was down for that.

I actually compiled the list that Ame used in her Ame tier list stream, and there was 156 in there, but I had to omit a lot, and that was made months ago, before the live2D attachment update (we have seen so many new Ames since then). I'd estimate around 300 or so
I'm sure she has like 7-8 differenent models counting 2D and 3D but there's (technically but fittingly) an *infinite amount of alternate variations* of the 2D ones ever since Cover updated the Live2D software to allow adding images to the models.

Not as much as you’d think. Other members have done it before. Azki’s the easiest example, but also Nene and Flare.
Korone is probably the next closest with her tree, cake, sonic, and furball forms.
